For those wanting the manager gone. Won the league for the last 2 seasons, won the cup as well last season, last 16 of CL and a decent EL run. Qualified for CL group stages again this season, top of the league and unbeaten.
I take it you want him sacked for his poor League Cup record???

Pish tournament that few care about amongst the support and the playing staff. I certainly won’t be losing any sleep tonight.
big George’s fan club- Wouldn’t disagree with a word of that- only plusses tonight are VVD is a real class act, as good a CB as we have had in years, and Big Efe unfortunate for the penalty- but his post-Juventus rehabilitation is progressing well.

Will support the team from the blarney in Berlin on Tuesday….but I still want Lenny out.
Plenty of other business guys I know feel the same way. I hope he takes the Sunderland job. I will drive him myself seeing he lost his licence.

I thought I would feel worse over the result Strangely I don’t. I’m of an age to have seen poor results. Life goes on. I will feel crap tomorrow. Hopefully it will disippate by next weekend. If it doesn’t I know I will be supporting the team that has given me the best times of my life in victory and defeat. I’m not defending what happened tonight but my experiences in elevens and five asides, tell me that football is a game where things don’t work out as you expect all the time.

2 points of view tonite
1. League cup doesn’t matter. Time to try out players. Bigger fish to fry. All very true
2. Why don’t we have a goal scorer. Pukki and balde. Signed for total of 4.8m. Their combined scoring ratio is indeed awefull before we signed them. Pukki has scored 2 spl goals in 2 spl games. So have to wait and see
Money results published show we could have bought someone for 10m and paid them 10m in wages over 3 years and we still would not have been in debt. While I am not advocating that it now proves to be an insult to our intelligence that the club could not afford to splash out
Lots of spin and plaudits about our financial results and backslapping of PL
What it shows to me is looking at how many years we did not get to Cl over last 6 to 7 years
How much money did Celtic plc loose when PL refused to give funds to managers
The fire sale under TM example of balancing books before trophies and profits
PL has lost more money than he has helped earned
The game tonite
We are more of an average team that plays in a tight unit in CL games
Results like this are not a surprise when there is no one able to take charge
As long as we have PL as CEO results like tonite will go on and on
Remember the spend what you earn
What happened to that one
Pps. PL bonus will be huge. Neil did not get the striker he wanted but PL got his bonus which comes 1st at our club

Listen it’s the League Cup! When the fixture list is busy with Europe, it is a distraction. It should be used to develop young players. They would be hungry as a team.
I agree we should be better than Morton and Lenny has one or two of these performances each season, but we are in the CL.
Let’s take this one and move on. If we expect to always win we are in danger of adopting a Hun mindset.
Well Done Morton. Organised and got lucky. Sevco’s Lisbon!

Thanks buddy, I can accept constructive criticism of my team, but downright slating, I cannot accept. Yes i was disappointed, as all were on here, but we have no absolute right to win every game we play. These new posters seem to appear every time we have a poor result, which bothers me not. I believe they are …well you know who I mean. Which means I enjoy their pain more and more every time they post. YNWA COYBIG.

You are feeling tonight what we feel when we overcome sides far stronger than ourselves.
We have had more than our fair share of being the victorious underdog.

Lenny – We did everything but score. We did enough to win the game.
Playing one man up front, from the start, against a team of part timers who have set up 4-5-1 and not changing it until 20 minutes to go isn’t doing enough to win it ya eejit
Also is it really necessary to have nine Celtic players defending a corner in the box against 5 Morton players
Or do you not have the ratical nuance to see that and change it

Just home from the match, feeling embarrassed and very frustrated. Morton wanted it more than us and won most 50/50s.( one eye on avoiding injury for Barca) Derk and Teemu were worryingly anonymous. Put some great corners into the danger zone- nobody attacking the ball. Virgil and Efe faultless again. Morton and their big support were worthy of that, even though it was never a penalty.

League cup or not we should have the resources to easily win against Morton. Personally i don’t care about the league cup the performance of the team was far more concerning. Our continued lack of a goal threat, even against lower league opposition, is very perturbing.
Thankfully no gloating Zombies in the office to contend with.
