‘No excuse’ for Celtic’s late draw with Motherwell
Rangers draw at Aberdeen with last gasp penalty
An Dún on
Results wise, it’s a good weekend for us. There’s one less round of games to play. They need to make days like today count. They didn’t.

And what do our council do to ” help” Celtic supporters. ?
They are now going to impose more parking restrictions ( 3 hrs before ko and 1 hr after ) without addressing the dire transport infrastructure.
But get this, fans will be able to buy visitor permits at extortionate rates.

Well, after yesterday’s result I really didn’t expect them to get anything other than 3 points today.
In fact I expected them to blow Aberdeen away.
The fact they didn’t says much about their mentality.
Although they didn’t lose ground on us today, they took a big, big psychological blow.

Just seen the penalty, Goldson is no where near the ball. No way could he get near that ball, outrageous!

I realise that today’s result from Pittodrie doesn’t really excuse our own scoreline from yesterday but maybe it does cheer you up enough to stick in what will be a gratefully received vote! 1 email, 3 names, anytime before 10pm please. SENCELPOTY@GMAIL.COM

RC @ 2:33 PM,
it was easier to score from the headers than it was to miss, poor headers and dont recall their keeper having many shots on target to deal with , other than diving outside his box to save.
Yes, the cheating has to be factored in, all these little non-fouls they get and fouls we don’t get, do add up over the course of a game.
That shirt pull on Mikey, was Butcher not their last man?
They were poor headers in that, they weren’t on target, yet we did create chances.
We need experience, power and quality
BHOYFROMSKY @ 2:53 PM
2) A Goalie who comes off his line at corners WTF has happened to Siegrest he was the best keeper in Scotland when we signed him ….A fallout 🤔
3) A tall strong left back …GT is all heart but too small …why was he not on the post for their goal
I’m wondering about that VAR verdict the other day. Was it that it only got wrong 3 decisions that were given, while totally ignoring decisions that weren’t given. There must be plenty of those, like the Motherwell goalkeeper, holding the ball outside his box.
Anyone got a link to their `keeper grabbing the ball outside the area? | From my seat, it looked very clearly out.

Well done to Villa and to John McGinn. And…….well done to P. Lawell for making every effort to sign him for a few pennies. Now the Chairman…. a sad joke.
*give it a rest we all know why we wurnae getting John McGinn, there was nae way putrid was sellin him tae us, that scabby mob are nae friends of ours and are a disgrace tae their name and colours, lets NOT forget that they were the protagonists in the removal of our flag.

This is what is SUPPOSED to happen when a `keeper grabs the ball outside the area:
We have been hindered by a lot of ìnjuries etc. this season which has hindered continuity. The main issues

Yes,I am raging they got the draw today, but not at the penalty.Aberdeen defended very well for 93 minutes.Huns get a corner, one of many Aberdeen had dealt with, and that eejit decides to tug a jersey with 2 minutes left.Rank, sheer stupidity. We can go on about their ridiculous amounts of penalties, but surely every player in Scotland knows,if you commit an offence against them in the box,it’s a penalty. They, like us have watched it.Why would you do it?.
Anyway, raging they got a point, but delighted they only got a point. That make sense?

Our biggest problem, and O Riley highlighted it last week,we don’t give Kyogo enough service.Midfield very guilty of this.Calmac one of the worst offenders. So many times he picks up the ball, and feeds it sideways or out wide.Kyogo running into positions all day,and gets scraps.
It’s a problem.

The ball was about one foot outside the boxwhen Kelly pulled it back in. His position may have obscured the view of the referee but the linesman was looking straight at it and should have made the call
I have 3 nights booked in Arbroath on 27/28/29 December. If you are about it would goodto meet for a coffee or beer or come a walk with our dog.

Early Christmas wish…
Can we please sign someone who can get a head to ball from one of our multiple corners…..someone who can actually head it towards the opposing teams goals would be preferable.
I would also like us to defend corners when we are playing a tam that has 3 corners but scores from one of them … that’s all .

Buckie Thistle will put up a fortified defence……..
Don’t know if anyone else heard it but Michael Stewart on Sportscene said Goldson is employing this tactic of waiting on being tugged in the penalty box and falling down far too easily. Seemingly, he did it against Hearts recently too. Both times, the deid team were getting beat in injury time.

goldson did it against hearts 2 weeks ago , employed same tactic , nowhere near the ball and as soon as he feels any touch to his top he is going to ground falling like a sack of potatoes and squealing for a pen.
Superbru Round 14 will be updated after Tuesday evening’s match between Ross County and St. Mirren.
I had to download Firefox to make this post because of CQN’s current policy to deny Mac and Safari users access. I have to negotiate through a blizzard of ads on Firefox obscuring the page to post so I am not going to bother reading back.
I’ll be back just for Superbru updates only if this is not fixed.

As far as I am aware ads are blocking access for people
I suggested an adblocker and an alternate browser
The reason I mentioned safari was I have no idea what adblockers, if any can be added to that?
