Thanks Bhoys for the well done’s to Josh’s goal V Hibs yesterday. Was also very impressed with undercover facilities at the Herriot University . Maybe Celtic could do something at Barrowfield which is an embarrassment
to the club!!!

I imagine if we needed to win the game Boyata would have been replaced at half time by Eric.
Excuse my rare foray into football comment/management/suposition
Thought it was fine today. Bit low key first half and a bit slack in front of goal second when our play was slicker mostly. Wee James easily MOTM though guy to my left still does not rate him. Pitch terrible – worst since we got undersoil heating in mid 80s. Nir”s hair? Well I suppose we were all young once

Jamesy MotM, easily.
Marco aka Mr Potato Head is happy with a 2-0 defeat, that pretty much sums today up.

I think the tax payer paid for that facility and the community get to use the Gym etc if they pay a membership, I do not dispute that Barrowfield needs improving but dont know if Celtic will pay for that when they have Lennoxtown.

So Lincoln City dump Burnley out of the FA Cup whilst Joey Barton stamps on someone and and then feigns an injury to try and get someone sent off. Ironically Lincoln are knows as ‘the imps’. Well who’s laughing now Joey…?!

Natknow, I got the Cambridge Audio Azur 851 amp and 851 CD player with the B&W 686 S2.
I’ve enjoyed the narrower victories ( The Boyata 1:0s against St. Johnstoen and the Dons and today’s effort) as much as the games where we scored 4, 5 and 6.
It shows character to keep the foot on hte gas, to maintain control and to pride yourself on a clean sheet too.
We have played 7 fixtures in 2017 and kept 6 clean sheets. Anyone still think we need a specialist defensive coach?

Do you think those who slag off John Kennedy when the defence are conceding will be full of praise for him now that we are in a good run of games with clean sheets?

We are 49-4 at home this season domestically. Can’t wait till we get a decent pitch!

Just back in EK , don’t envy supporters getting away from the game
Disappointing second half – we went into training game mode. Couple of good chances missed and moussa too greedy
GB were very entertaining from my seat in the main stand.
Altogether a very enjoyable day – only wish I could do it more often
In other news Vale drop into relegation places.

Neither can Brendan. He said he wants us to be playing at a higher tempo but the pitch means it’s more difficult.

Missing Rogic and Paddy – 2 guys with a bit of imagination. But things ain’t too bad are they?
Paul67 was spot on with his preview, and Motherwell go away happily beaten.
The champions and et elect went through the motions of puncturing the Motherwell parked bus, and we can only guess how it would have gone had Celtic legend Big MIck not crocked himself, with his making his first pass.
James Forrest was prominent again working the flank and scoring a fine goal, but the Motherwell pros were clearly on defensive overtime to keep their obligatory defeat to a mere minimum. Never a week goes by, without mentioning the ref, and today was no exception, with just the one or two bizarre blanks.
Liam Henderson was withdrawn at half time after a quiet first half, and replacement Stuart Armstrong looked well but understandably rusty in his forty five. All academic, as Dembele’s spot kick saw us TWENTY SEVEN points clear, and had the Green Brigade in irresistible form.
One of the main changes that Brendan has nurtured out of James Forrest is to have him drive down the outside where previously James had preferred the Arthur Graham route of riving across defenders hoping to get a shot off.
Also, when he goes down the outside he is very rarely attempting the “shallow” cross (keeping the high ball low) and instead has introduced the “stand-up” cross which had not been a feature of James’s play to any great extent before. This helps him to slow down enough to get greater quality. He is also doing by-line cut-backs but Well defenders were very alert to these today.
It’s great to see the wee fella stay fit enough for long enough to show his quality. There are still some in our support who have merely revised their opinion of James from “waste of a jersey” to “Aye! ok! but he’ll get found out again soon enough.”
P.S. No Paddy Roberts were harmed in this evaluation of James.
Why was Liam Henderson taking off today ? Injury ?
These run of games are his big chance .. would love to see him take them.
Hunderbirds are Gone on
Barton’s antics are laughable. He is a never-was blowhard.
It shows football up in a bad light, that someone who is so talentless as a player, and despicable as a human being, can make millions out of the game.

It was Bitton’s blonde hair that was the reason we werny at our best, the other players burst oot laughing everytime they seen him :-)

What corky said
Corky says we played with oor fly’s doon.
Still, Craig really no that busy with only one save to make that I noticed when my sausage was up.
Fly’s doon. Sausages up. Wit kinda talk is that?

Pedestrian play and very poor passing. To many balls wrong side of player.
Only Forrest and Moussa shone.
Still good enough to beat well but need to sharpen up.
Many wins needed to win the title ???????????????
Good to see Armstrong get 45 minutes.
James’ improvement under Brendan continues.
Sinclair having a wee dip in form but impresses in flashes.
Motherwell are really a poor lot. Mark McGee obviously can’t get the best out of them.
Will a win on March 12 secure the title?
What would that do to Lenten observances?
missed Erik
