   Didn’t see much thuggery from the mothers other than Campbell who looked like a perma raging type.Not one of our players were injured.

    

   Won’t be dwelling on that as there is some serious celebrating to be done.

   I left straight after the match without waiting for the celebration. Quite an emotional time. My good lady picked me up in Motherwell and I am back havign a cup of tea.

    

    

   I lost my beloved brother last April and my mother in May. Tomorrow we have a wee 7 mile walk planned in their memory so no strong drink tonight. I like to think that Celtic provided a wee pick me up to everyone with today’s commanding performance.

    

    

   I will cherish days like this and I do so on behalf of people no longer with us who nurtured this and gave me the gift of Celtic

    All round solid performance by the team, thought Cal Mac was superb.

     

    If my da was still around he would be oot wandering around our wee housing estate in Bellshill, dressed in as much Celtic gear that he could muster. Just to let the huns know their place!! (my brother might be doing it for him ? ?

    Well, just back home after watching the History Bhoys. I’ve seen many a Celtic victory in the last 50 odd years but today is special.

     

     

    The performance was good although the only thing that really mattered was the result.

     

     

    This group of players and this management team have delivered something unique and very special.

     

     

    Let’s all enjoy it together as the Celtic family.

    Watching the way the players celebrated and reacted to each other after the game showed to me the real team spirit around this group, fused together by a manager who’s an expert in man management and team building.

     

     

    A word as well to our Assistant manager Chris Davies who I think is very important too to our success.

    Callum, you scored a goal today, on that stage, which brought back memories of my favorite favorite Celtic player of all time, when he scored a similar goal, at other end of the pitch vs the huns in the LCF 1982, when Murdo MacLeod burst the huns net in front of the, unseated, uncovered, underdog, oppressed, soaked to the skin, ecstatic, over the moon, dancing in the rain, rolling aboot the grun, kissing and cuddling each other as we bathed in the magic, that the Celtic, and only the Celtic, can bring. Thank you Callum son.

    Fine show to end an extended (by 12 months) season, game sown up in first half. Wee Paddy did not look too happy during the celebrations but wish him all the best wherever it takes him.

     

    Mrs fess wants to know why i didn’t buy tee shirt? Had to explain unable to issue until around 16:45 tonight. Maybe get one when I’m back.

     

    Anyway great to be a Celtic supporting Tim. Off oot before our resident nerdowells come on to lighten the atmosphere.
