Brilliant turnout for Captain Fantastic.
Was not a bad game for a friendly.
Only a great save from the Irish keeper denied Henrik a goal after a brilliant Ollie pass.
Young Johnson looks to have it and can replace Paddy.
Calvin Miller is a wing back and in a back three would thrive.
Young Regan Hendry looks ready to contribute as he is strong on the ball and makes good choices.
Incredible support deserve lots of praise.

I rather enjoyed my wee day oot in Paradise today. Thought Mikey Johnston was excellent, as was Regan Hendry second half. That young Henrik Larsson chap looked a yard off the pace but still made the keeper pull off a great save.

Enjoyed that today, great to see Henrik again and i had a wee tiny lump in my throat when Paddy went off. It was only a friendly of course but one or two of the youngsters look very good indeed. Regan Hendry looked very powerful and Johnston has sublime skill and oozes confidence.
So that’s another plastic pitch we will have to put up with next season, also another team of cluggers.
Livi get promoted against a hapless Thistle.
Sammon missed a penalty right at the end.
Time to start wearing extra shinnies If their display against Dundee Utd was anything to go by.

So Livi promoted? Another worn carpet excuse of a pitch I hear. This has to stop to play in Scotland’s top tier either have a natural grass pitch in good condition or stick to 5 a side

So Livingston in the Premiership next season and Thistle relegated. Big John Harrison has been filling in as the striker coach at Livingston this season.
Just a pity they are looking at a 4G pitch for next season. That would mean 25% of next season’s away matches on artificial surfaces with Accies and that ‘rubber crumb’ mess at Killie !
Plus there’s Hertz “long grass” – although they are installing a hybrid pitch so how is Levein going to grow the artificial 10% !
There is a UEFA reg about grass length – 30mm – but how would mini huns know that !

I agree there wouldnt be many in Falkirk that would be described as Celtic Minded. However that pub and one other( that I cant think of the name of right now) were flying the Green Flag deep behind enemy lines. …

Just reading on Twitter that Hamilton and Kilmarnock are going back to grass next season.
I switched between the game at Firhill and the Celtic Women v Hibs Ladies game.
In terms of football ability, the Hibs girls were miles ahead of the other three teams on view…..and that is not an exaggeration.
A small part of me is looking forward to a quick drop into ff on the day we win 10iar
