    Giakoumakis finishes joint top scorer in the league. Actually he’s in first place if the second criterion is goals per minutes played, which it should be.

    Well that was right up there as one of the greatest Celtic League Championship victories that I can remember. What an emotional afternoon. Fabulous football performance from the players and the bitter-sweet farewell to two of our stalwarts over the last nine years. Two players who have made terrific contributions to Celtic’s success over the last decade. I wish them both great success and happiness for the remainder of their careers and for the rest of their lives.

     

     

    It’s now time to seriously celebrate Ange and The Bhoys achievements over the last season. Take care everyone and have a great time celebrating wherever you may be.

    Well, that was emotional.

     

     

    I might watch theFA Cup final and then call it quits with association football until the Hoops get back to pre season preparation.

     

     

    It has been a helluva season. We’ve found a helluva manager and some really good players to help carry the next part of the Celtic Story.

     

     

    It’s just fantastic. Fabulous. Wonderful.

    I didn’t fancy a 6am start today, after a busy week, so I watched the game an hour delayed.

     

     

    Decided to skip the trophy part until later (not a glory hunter, and all that)…..until I saw the link above.

     

     

    I streamed the link and put it on the big screen – have to say it made me very emotional and ranks up there with 1998.

     

     

    Thank you Ange and countless players for making our summer relaxed and confident and our Autumn full of potential and anticipation.

    Respect to whoever has put a big Japanese flag at the top of the Heily Brae going into Free Largs. I saw it at 615 this morning and it’s still there.

     

    This is going to make the letters page in the Largs & Millport Weekly news red hot on Wednesday.

    If penalties are no way to end a game, I’d suggest they’re an even worse way to start it.

    If the outcome of a tie is ultimately to be decided by penalties they should be taken before the game.

     

     

     

    Apart from anything else it would make for a more interesting game.

     

     

     

    Apologies if this idea causes those of a dull and plodding mindset to have a nose bleed.
