   God, I hate Murderwell – the team that never played against against oldco, and lay down to 3rd division newco.

    

    

   Ref tried his best but thanks to big Fraser, his efforts were in vain.

   Mulgrew, Commons back. Stokesy as well soon. Two more weeks recuperation and big Joe will be back. Skoosh gets a well needed rest as well. Who knows what will happen in the window. Ibrahim being loaned should be an indicator. Big Fraser Fantastic big man. A bit like Hooper. Just do the important parts impeccably. Well done the bhoys.

   The biase of the referee was shocking, of course it may even its self out over the course of the season, so we are told. Big thanks to ff for saving us and hoops, The penalty spot placement protest cost him a card though

   FF MOM against a poor motherwell team says it all for me. Improvement needed but i’ve been saying that all season in the spl and don’t think it will come, 9 clear after today so whats my point ? ; ) Celtic must take the SFA to task over these refs, Teams get away with murder against us, Missed Brown today and Vic had his Passport sticking out his shorts,lol Hooper also in Transfer/Holiday mode.

    I have no idea as I was forced to listen to it on Shortbread and it was 2 hours of talking up Motherwell from the commentator and his sidekick Murdo MacLeod.

     

     

    One example…… Motherwell will be regretting that missed penalty……?

    Three unbelievable decisions from the ref in that game.

     

     

    Firstly, after clearly indicating advantage, Keith Lasley catches the ball and decides he wants a free kick instead. The ref agrees and effectively allows Lasley to referee the game.

     

     

    Second, the clear dive for which a penalty was awarded.

     

     

    Third, despite the whole world could see clearly the ball wasn’t placed on the spot the ref decides to belligerently stick to his guns and books a protesting Forster.

     

     

    It’s been a while since I enjoyed a victory as much as this one.

    “Winning ugly” has become the norm for us in the spl. The refereeing is keech and opposing teams have learned to park the bus and hit & hope.

     

    Unfortunately we don’t have a Messi, so we have to watch as players miss sitters in their anxiety to get a dismal job done, i.e. getting over the line at the domestic level so we have yearly entry into the European structures where we, at least, have the opportunity of a level playing field.

     

    A 1-0 win gives us the 3 points, and that is ALL that matters……along with praying that our players don’t get seriously damaged.

     

    Vergin’ on the ridiculous, so it is.

     

    Oh, and btw, Fraser Forster, yer a STAR!

    Steinreignedsupreme, No i just expect my team to do better with the chances they create so we dont need our keeper to keep us in a game with 10 mins to go and i Expect my club to stand up for itself against this institutional cheating that we watch every game. Not being a douch dude, Just getting fed up with our SPL attitude is all. Its not good enough. But your right,its all rosey.

    Sammi is a hero and sometimes Ghoops just does enough

     

     

    It’s already been said but goalscoring failures allow the Mibs to do their thang – almost blew another 3 points today

    kevinlasvegas, I know this is a blog and your opinion is as valid as mine but your posts are really annoying me. This was a decent game out there today, we won and we deserved to win and we overcame a cheating mason to boot. I’m thrilled and so proud of my Team & my Club. 9 points clear in SPL and still going in 3 Cups will do for me. Thought Dylan showed a lot of maturity when he came on would like to see him getting more game time.

    Lasley should have been red-carded for the assault on Charlie. Only one of many terrible decisions by Mr McLean.

     

     

    The goal was a Champions League goal on the counter attack. We still struggle to create chances against a packed defence. If we don’t convert chances from the flanks or from set-pieces, it becomes nervy. Very little creativity in central midfield. Not surprising, as Victor, Beram and Charlie are all essentially defensive midfielders.
