    What a totally inept display of refereeing today! Scotland’s referees? Worst in the World? You decide! I ALREADY HAVE….but I don’t see too many Kazakhstan “Premier League” matches….

    A deserved 3pts but we did make it hard for ourselves today!

     

     

    Sammi dragged them all over the park at times – annoying that the uncertainty and space he creates was passed-up by some of his colleagues on more than one occasion.

     

     

    Let’s hope they all indulge in a bit of shooty-in practice in Marbella.

    That Lasley should have had hhis marching orders for that tackle on Mulgrew. Another coward of a footballer in the same vein as elbows with that club that no longer exists.

     

     

    Big Fraser gets yellow carded for pointing out the ball was not on the spot, absolute joke, and then the big man gives him a girfuy to the mib when he makes a tremendous save.

     

     

    A lot more creative today thanks to KC and started the goal with some excellent control of the ball, well done

    I don’t know when you started watching football, but if you expect Celtic to win every game comfortably then you are a dreamer. The greatest Celtic team of them all could not even do that.

     

     

    No other team manages to achieve it either. Basically, it’s a tad unrealistic and I fear you will suffer permanent disappointment in life. I hope you don’t believe in the Tooth Fairy as well as it might tip you over the edge.

     

     

    Personally, I’m delighted with the situation. So much so I even forgot about the game-in-hand. Looking forward to doing the huddle in the last 16 of the Champions League.

    The more that’s seen of the hill we have to climb in this most corrupt of set-ups, the more our team has to be admired for getting over the summit so often.

    Just because we won, the “Penalty” incident shouldn’t be ignored. It was as blatant a dive as I ever saw. The MSM might say the Ref was conned, its easy to con a Ref who wants to be conned. There were aspects of our play today that needs critical assessment and I’m not saying everything in the garden is rosy but when you see “Celts” coming on within minutes of a nerve jangling win with the tension heightened by the cheating slagging players and team you have to wonder.

    Can’t remember who it was but somebody posted on here that we have more chance of winning the CL than the Treble,because of those MIB’s.

     

     

    I fear for us in the domestic cup competitions.

     

     

    The MIB can be much more effective in a cup tie.

     

     

    They done us up last year in the games against Kilmarnock and Hearts.

    In the end a satisfying win.

     

    We needed to take advantage of our initial domination.

     

    An early goal would have taken the ref out the game and may have led to a barrowload.

     

    Murphy wouldn’t have needed a post match shower as he had already had a bath in the Celtic box, not once but twice.

     

    Fortunately even the ref didn’t fall for it the second time.

     

    We lack a real cutting edge and with Hooper holding out a penalty box poacher has to be a target for Neil. Will Stokes fill that role on his comeback?

     

    Alan Pardew must rue how cheaply we got Fraser Foster. I hope there is no sell on clause.

     

    Finally, thank God the wife said, Sammi was immense today. He single handedly terrorised the Motherwell defence, left, right and centre. Demis Roussos was never as sweet or as swift as the gangling Greek.

     

     

    Now what am I going to do for the next couple of weeks?

    A great win in the circumstances.

     

     

    Absolutley scandalous dive by Murphy for the pen which ref McLean (brother of ex rangers man brian) was only too happy to give. Wanyama and Forster booked for pointing out the rules to the ref.

     

     

    The Great Wall won us those three points. Save really woke us up and great play from Commons, Sammy and Hoooper for the goal.

    I wish there was a way to ask the Scottish msm why their default position is either Celtic negative or Celtic undermining.

     

     

    Even if there was they would deny it I suppose.

     

     

    Anyhoo that penalty award and save galvanised the players and support. We certainly need that kind of emotional input and SPL games just do not generate it.

     

     

    My reaction when FF saved was GIRUY msm and when Hooper scored it was delight at scoring but also that that ammunition to have a go was taken away. When I say have a go I mean over and above the default position.

    We all understand that the norm of MIB’s is

     

    bias/ineptitude/pandering to masters,

     

    but there has been a sharp uptake in the

     

    ridiculous since we made the last 16 in Europe!

     

     

    Of what i understand of big FF he is a gentleman,

     

    so i doubt he has used any profanity in his protesting.

     

    Booked for asking for the rules of the game to be applied.

     

     

    The penalty spot has 1 function only,

     

    there is no ambiguity for this situation,

     

    it is not open to referee interpretation or decision.

     

    the ball was not even on the outside of the spot,

     

    it was completely forward of it.

     

     

    The club surely have question this.

    Sammi was indeed excellent but I thought he was delaying his final ball all day until he produced the one for the goal. He seemed intent on getting to within a foot of the endline before putting in the cross. Hoops wasn’t prominent but did great with the burst and lay off to Sammi and then being at the end of the return pass to win the game for us. He is a quality player, look at his goal statistics, a strikers job is to score goals, it doesn’t matter whether from 2 yards or edge of the box stuff, when assessing a striker all that counts is his goals to games ratio.
