Unhappy n Disappointed in Ronny.. Big Time
FFS, nothing changed blame Anto ( or insert, Izzy, Efe, KC) for the performance. Not too many winners on show today as far as i could see and I only started watching the game the last few minutes of the 1st half. AS is just a symptom of the current malaise not the cause – look elsewhere for that.
Not a lot of tactical nous needed to see how to nullify our threat when he’s on the bench for half the match.
Guaranteed Ronny will get the full season, January window as well as the last one. But signs of improvement are hard to discern right now.
Wits – I agree a man out of his depth – talks a great game but that is it – admit to the error of his appointment & move on

Did not see the game (heard on radio) first half no idea what was going on second half all possession – but we did not win at home (and the pen “sounded”soft)
The Consultant (my name for RD) has had 13 games – how many before the “work in progress” becomes convincing ???
One final thought – and its a long way from becoming a worry – but if we do not win the league this year it will be the biggest disaster in our history

Game of 2 halves. 1st was terrible. 2nd improved. Too many greedy players shooting when they should pass. To many slowing things down and not taking responsibility. There were some nice interchanges in the second half but in general we are too slow.
Ronny, only play players who have earned a place on the back of there last performance. That means the likes of Tonev, Bitton and Stokes shouldn’t start (although who knows who should start as a striker!). Make them earn a place. Pick the strongest team and stick with it. If it means you have to tweak the system to fit in Commons, then do so. As for the players, grow some! You can’t always expect Brown, Commons, Mcgregor, Van Dijk and Gordon to take all the responsibility. It’s a team game.
How did Scepovic play?
Was it a par performance for a third choice striker of a second division team?
Couldn’t make the game today so not fair to judge BUT drawing at home to Motherwell ain’t good enough.
Seems to me Rd has a flaw in substitutions at exactly the wrong time. Did against Maribor at home 20 minutes into the second half, a decision which I believe cost us the game.
From the comments on here today it seems he took Guidetti off when he looked most likely to score and put on sceptic who has done nothing at all.
Do we know why SB and Kc , out two best players , didn’t start?
I’ve been generally ok with him till now but the honeymoon period for RD is close to being over.

Last minute
Ronny should’ve known by now that he can’t be chopping and changing the team like that. They only started to play after he brought back two “regular” players at half time. (OK, SB could hardly be called regular so far this year, but since he got back from injury the team have looked much much better).
So the question is : why didn’t Ronny play the full strength team from the start? And more importantly, will he make a habit of repeating his mistakes before he learns? One lesson needs to be enough for him.
Ronny and Jonny – please share your thoughts on team selection…….

Thanks to all who kept us up to. date on here. Not the best way to recover from a heart attack hearing about how poorly we played. Something is seriously wrong at present. The management need to face up to what most people on here have been commenting about the weakness in strikers, the frailty in the midfield, and the constant silly errors in the defence.

I am still hopeful that Rony will get it sorted out we at the moment dont look as though we are going to win the SPL by a canter .However,the lack of graft from some of our players is a worry I dont think we should loan Griffiths to anyone we may need him as our forwards dont know the way to goal .H.H.

its just as likely that his loan signings will follow too
even if we do win the one horse race, we will again be a team in disarray next season come CL qualification time
last seasons signing were a disaster that set the club back years
this seasons signings dont look any better
