I watched both games….. And Commons, was no where close to being played wide right.
Johansen was out on the right in both games.
If Ronny is rigid tonight with his 4-2-3-1….. Then the only change will be Stokes for Henderson.
Griffiths will be the lead striker.

You are correct. Just not sure this is our most effective line up. It seems like RD is trying to shoe horn certain players (e.g., KC) into the 11, even though they throw off the balance and formation that he had been going for.
If KC plays, he should play behind the main striker. He isn’t effective when played out wide. but this means a 4-4 -2, or more accurately a 4-4-1-1 which RD doesn’t seem to favour.
Why are some of you Bhoys so negative dont you think we should watch the game then make our comments ? H.H.

He was on the right (not wide right), often cutting in.
Johansen was ostensibly behind Griffiths, but he goes pretty much everywhere and anywhere.
The CelticFC tweet usually go according to position and they have it – (4-2-3-1) Gordon; Matthews, Denayer, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Commons, Johansen, Stokes; Griffiths

I can’t win. When someone posts negative comments after the game, they get accused of being hindsight know-it-alls. I’ve seen comments like “Why don’t you have the courage of your convictions and post before the game?” So I have.
Besides, I haven’t been entirely negative. I like the midfield 2, and expect Celtic to win. I just wish Ronny would play the diamond four that is much more effective and entertaining (imo).

Watch tonight for Johansen linking with Matthews. It’s just my interpretation of things… I reckon Johansen will be positioned to the right mainly. And Commons will invariably be central.

Rangers director Sandy Easdale has said police are investigating threats made against him amid the ongoing and acrimonious battle for the Ibrox club.
Officers are believed to be monitoring his home after internet posts allegedly urged fans to attack his house in a bid to remove him from the club.
Mr Easdale, 47, said he had also received threats by email and letter.
Last week, several hundred fans protested outside Ibrox stadium against the current Rangers board.
In a statement released to the BBC, Mr Easdale said: “I have received several threats that are now in the hands of the authorities and I am confident that Police Scotland will get to the bottom of this.

I understand fella we all have our favourites and know where we like them to play but Rony picks the team he thinks will win.I dont mind Bhoys not being happy if we have not played well but for me to think we know better than Rony before a game I find hard to believe we need to back the team and the manager there are plenty outwith the Celtic support just waiting for Rony to fall flat on his face without us helping them. H.H.
