Billly scored his first goal for Celtic in the first game I ever attended.
Was there for his last game, and last Cup Final.
And a whole lot in between.
God bless the greatest of Celtic players!

Seems the door is locked and Warbs can’t get out for an interview. Respect?

In respect of the respectful respect shown by the respectable Warby, we should respect his wishes to respectfully turn down that respectable job at Chelsea.
It would be great to see Ciftci get another goal or two today. Think Ciftci and Commons will be on the score sheet but I think today might be a harder game than expected. Motherwell seem to be better organised in recent weeks.
To be honest I’m a little disappointed that Allan hasn’t been given a start but then again McGregor has earned his place.
Mon the hoops. Let’s get another 3 points, then I can get on with more nebulous matters like the structure of the club and how we repair the schisms in the support….

Thems got a last-minute penalty? Surprise surprise.
KRIS Commons returns to the Celtic starting XI for today’s match against Motherwell as part of a trio of changes to the team following last week’s 3-0 win over St Johnstone.
The Hoops playmaker comes back into the starting line-up in place of Stuart Armstrong on the right side of midfield, and he’s joined by Nir Bitton and Kieran Tierney, who replace Stefan Johansen and Emilio Izaguirre respectively.
Commons was substituted at half-time through injury in the 2-1 home loss to Molde in the UEFA Europa League last month after scoring Celtic’s only goal of the game and has made just two appearances since.
He bagged the Bhoys’ equaliser against Fenerbahce in his second-half showing last week in Turkey and continued his comeback with 20 minutes against the Saints in Perth at the weekend.
The Celtic star has now won his place back in the starting XI as he looks to add to his 90-goal tally for the Scottish champions.
Today’s match kicks-off at 3pm and there will be live pre-match build-up and in-game updates via the official Celtic Twitter account @Celticfc
