I may have mentioned before how I stumbled upon CQN not long after I moved to the US. It has kept me connected to a thing I love in a way I cannot have imagined.
I make the comment regularly when people ask what do I miss the most about the old country. Celtic Park I say, then usually remember to say my family as well.
If you are lurking dad, sorry, but I know you know.
I am absolutely blown away by the kindness, generosity and just darn fine hearts of FAIRHILL BHOY and MARSPAPA.
I am also beyond giddy – and I type this with goosebumps and a wee tear in my eye – to say I have a wee arrangement to meet at CQN corner for the Hearts game with my Louisville lass and MARSPAPA.
I asked FAIRHILL BHOY what I could bring him from Kentucky as a thank you and he of course said to donate to a charity, to worry not about him. I have made a donation to SCIAF Hunger Appeal in this dear green places name.
If you are looking in Paul67, thank you again for the platform.
You all rock.
BSR was very kind to me in chats during some challenging times, not that he knew. Thank you brother.
When Phil Mc was getting DDOS attacks on his site Paul67 enabled a conversation with him about me perhaps hosting his blog over here as I worked in web hosting at the time. Must be close to 13/14 years Paul? I previously shared a story about how my now wife was introduced to what she still calls “Celtic Quickies” when all this traffic from CQN was hitting our company servers as I had posted a link to what we called MaxV at the time. It was a web hosting solution and the way I wrote it on here it made it look like MaxV was a player we might be looking at.
Anyway.
ZBYSNEK and I connected during lockdown when he was over here. Had some lovely wee chats.
Most recently I have had the pleasure of emailing INIQUITOUSIV and chatting about our journeys and adventures over here.
To me this is the best wee Celtic place there is, with the best folks. No question about it.
I called my dad right away upon hearing from FAIRHILL BHOYand MARSPAPA yesterday. I was like a wee teenager.
Hope to see a few of you at the corner. I’ll be the curly haired, 6ft chap, with the bonny US lass and a smile from ear to ear.
I don’t understand you. I quoted what Moyes said. I posted a YouTube video of him saying it. I even told you the time in the clip when he said it, so you could hear it for yourself. I don’t read or watch MSM, so your point baffles me. And I’m tired of arguing about it.
Let’s focus on today.

Hi all and a happy Saturday from Louisville.

None of those Norwich players will get lost at sea
Including the keeper
Cheers CORKCELT!
Sublime touch from Jota there. Bright few minutes to open.
Jota once again looking every bit a star.
Lively and sharp start
Nice from Jota
Some nice passing in opening 10 mins.
Celtic break, corner
Corner us. And another.
Not taken short. And another
Short, cross cleared
Hart under pressure from Pukki.
Norwich corner as JH closed down
Bit scary that
Pukki right on top of Hart there.
Tom Boyd says “Teemu doing a Celtic there.”
