    Even though its a testimonial I’m hoping we’re taking this game seriously – we need all the match-time we can get. You can’t read too much into pre-season matches but being off the pace is being off the pace and that’s never a good thing never mind against a team in full flow.

    Always know the season is close when the live updates start… Have to say I’m happy enough with the starting line up last thing we need is losing someone to a stupid injury a week b4 the CL starts

    I understand the concern re injuries etc but personally I felt the next two games was a chance to get the starting XI on the park that will face Helsinki.

    Some shape, purpose, commitment, skill, goals, and a victory – in the Hoops – please. Unlike the sham me and thousands of others endured in Amsterdam on Saturday. An American guy sitting beside me couldn’t believe the reaction of the support when their third went in. Sadly I think it’s taken for granted
