So let’s get Murphy really fit despite the fact he doesn’t have a future ….

I thought we might see a bit of the usual sack the board hyperbole indulgence on here after the result tonight, but I must say I did not anticipate the board’s predatory birds policy to be the subject of so much attention!
Why all the negativity and panic about Celtic’s pre-season. It’s only the 24th of July and our season doesn’t start properly until 1.58pm on the 15th of October.
That was the case last season at least, and we won the SPL by a country mile, got to both domestic cup finals, and missed progressing beyond the group stage of the Europa League (from the toughest group in the competition) by just a solitary goal, losing only to the eventual winners of the trophy.
The future’s bright, it’s Green & Whyte.

Enjoyed tonight’s game.
A step up in fitness and performance.
Norwich were a fit, useful side, who played the game hard.
Good performances from those from whom we would expect a show.
Special mention to Mc.Court and Twardzik.

They’re banking on the SFA giving in to them rather than have no “Rangers.”

Not long back from match Some positives tonight despite the result. Had enough chances the first half to finish the game. Mainly fringe squad out tonight, although a few more first teamers came on later in the game.
On CQN badge delivery duty tonight at CP. It was good to catch up with some CQNers for the first time; Cowie bhoy (twice), Mountblow Tim, Fin 75, Dim Sam, Alan the lurker, and indeed some familar faces in Hamilton Tim, The Glasgow Celtic Way and Mouldy67.
Thanks to all for your support and donations for wee Oscar.
Finally also good to hear that Bundoran bhoy managed to deliver his badges today without the need for beer :-)

Europe – sadly,no chance.
Wilson, Rogne – forget it. Neither good enough technically or intelligently as football players. Basic positioning, especially Rogne- not good enough and neither of them are simply hard enough.
How coincidental that we should get the chance to watch Helsinki twice in the coming weeks. I look forward to watching Helsinki once again when they finally demolish it and build a supermarket on top of the rubble alongside Edmiston Drive.

Your right. Well actually I don’t know really but I think your rationale for a cat is more considered than my knee jerk hyperbole. I’d worry about the cat though if that fox is still around.

Is it really the case that the punishment for fielding ineligible players for well over a decade, is now being used as a bargaining tool.
If Green ACCEPTS the punishment and stripped of trophies…. then that’s it….they will be back…?
I don’t understand how this can be acceptable.
The punishments SHOULD be meted out NO MATTER WHAT.

Thought the fella that won the chance to play up front must have enjoyed himself. Was that competition in the program? Anyway 20 minutes alongside your idols and at Celtic Park was a great prize, although totally out of place and killed the attacks but it was preseason and made one guy’s dreams come true. Looked a bit like Bangura I thought.
What’s that? There was not competition you say? That was……….?? Whit?!!
