  1. For a team set up for pass and move football we are all over the place.

The Jags were the better team before JL scored and deserved a goal.

Pukki showing great battling abilities wished commons and forrest could do the same.

  2. Would take any win today. Weather wise it’s not a day for football. The Scandanavians have it right in shutting down through the winter months.

  3. West Wales Celt on

Is the attendance as bad as it looks?

Disjointed passing and a lack of drive first half.

Jags playing really well and unlucky to be behind.

    Need a better second 45…

  4. 4 or 5 is a very bad point for me.

7 for Lennon for trying to shake things.

    Didnt you want that?

  5. Bhoys the call on here for weeks are for Neil to change the team, he changes the team and it doesn’t quite click in the first 45 minutes, cue further wailing and gnashing of teeth, there were calls for James to play through the middle and now he is, Pukki has looked lively today and as ever the problem lies in midfield, what amazes me is week in week out Scott Brown shows a lack of football ability in his reading of the game, his slow thinking when the ball is passed to him and his poor shooting but seems to be immune to criticism??

Our midfield is pedestrian because we have three out of the four who play that way! Our lack of pace in midfield results in us being unable to go past the last defender, Pukki was through in the box and had no one to cut it back to!

Ha who needs the GB when the DJ can create the atmosphere by replicating their songs. Discoland at ht was great, he can just drown out the Thistle fans second half too.

I don’t advocate shaking things up.

I want Neil to be able to properly implement the system he puts on the park.

    We are rarely a team.

  8. Ah see that Adam is a Mere Shadow of his Former self.

He wull tak a Good Few games tae get back tae his former Excellent Form

Ah am sure that he wull..

But, we miss his Surgin runs o’ yore.

Ah wid , bring oan Amido..

Heck. when is Neil, Gonna get aff the Dime..and Gie the Lad a Good run oot.

If he waits until the Last Few minutes before He brings oan Amido..

Have to expect Adam to be rusty.

Fisher should have retained his place till Adam was fully fit.

Cautious coaching relying on tried and trusted.

    WWC

The attendance is about the same. There are more in the Lions stand than the last two games , but fewer in the Main Stand lower for some reason

  11. Ah am impressed by Thistle..Inasmuch..

They are Playing a Nice clean game..

    Refreshing tae see.

We are looking bettah so faur…

Thistle, ur no Doon n OOt yet..

  12. Weet wet weet(grow)

    Was unaware.

But to often we play unfit players rather than trust youth.

    Especially in Europe.

  13. Afternoon Bhoys & Ghirls, and a hoopy new year to y’all.

It doesn’t sound like we are having a good day at the office at the mo’, but as Lenny has said, at least we can still grind out wins when we are performing under par.

We are still on target for our 22nd consecutive league game unbeaten, a feat bettered just once since our Seville team went a staggering 38 games undefeated (35 wins) from the end of 2002-3 until almost the end of 2003-4. That other occasion being 27 unbeaten league games in 2006-7. Both those records are probably now beatable if Neil can keep the players focussed for the remainder of the season, especially so once the (inevitable) league title is sewn up.

As things stand our current team are (hopefully) about to achieve a magnificent seven domestic wins in a row without conceding a single goal. That in itself deserves some acknowledgement, whatever the perceived standard of the opposition.
