We are eking out victories without a single striker, and relying on Virgil, Efe and FF to get us by. It gets the points, but My God, it is tough to watch.
They have amassed 5 points, in this run, in his absence.
22 points in his 11 games before this.
Holy Goalie has missed last 5 games with a broken hand.

Another welcome win, but the last few games apparently a homage to Gordon Strachan.

Big Chips UK………….Thanks for that report. I was wondering whatever happened to Danny Fox , noticed he had been missing from Southampton’s team for some time and he’s also out with injury problems.

The team is a bit stale after so many matches. We need a spark in midfield.
Happy New Year to everyone on CQN. Thanks to Paul as usual for this site.

Congrats to Partick Thistle who really made a game of it today. We looked off the pace most of the game with absolutley no attacking threat. Ledley scored and covered every blade of grass today and is the only outfield player I would give pass marks to. The rest were shocking.1-0 flattered us. It is a shame that this is what it has come to this season. Scraping 1-0 wins against SPL teams with a fraction of our resources. The second half of the season does not look promising from an entertainment perspective.
Let’s see how Neil uses the transfer window.

Always good to win a derby. That’s 22 league games unbeaten, eight straight wins and seven successive clean sheets.
Some people are hoping Lenny decides to leave at the end of the season.
Aw Bless. Don’t they just hate it when Celtic keep winning.

‘absolutely no attacking threat’ is not a phrase we should be using to describe a Celtic team playing at home against a team from the lower reaches of the league.
Or ANY Celtic team, ever, come to that.

Feel sorry for Pukki.
Replaced by Stokes who wanders around the pitch with his carry-oot lookin for a party.
Can’t fault Teemu’s workrate, he would have scored but for a good save from the Jags goalie.

What is the problem with Tony Watt ?
Or is the problem with the manager ?
Bloody hell, came on as a sub in Belgium and played out his skin, and Pukki as main
Striker today . Watt not even on the bench! To me that is a disgrace !

When I last lived in Glasgow, I didn’t miss many Celtic games and we were awful under Brady and Macari.
Don’t know what I would do now,20 years on,as the cold gets into the bones a wee bit more these days.
Have a feeling a lot of our fans go now for the same reason as I did back then…..out of habit only.
Celtic Plc and Lenny’s ego need to be careful here as once a habit is broken and all that……..

I read a report today that Tony Watt was just back training with the team during the Belgian winter shutdown.

First post on two consecutive pages. A first for me, I think. That has to be worth a wee drink!
If there are 4 guys around Sami – we must have 3 passengers
Second placed Motherwell win 4-0 at home to St Johnstone. It is their 5th consecutive victory, and their second in a week by a 4 goal margin.
Anything to worry about in this attack on us by HunMedia?

Professional performance from Celtic. Another 3 points and another clean sheet.
The top 3 teams won today so no change at the top.
Onwards and upwards.
About as underwhelmed as you can get from snother ground out win.
Better than a loss or a draw but that is about as positives I be…
We appear to be on a winning run while suffering a slump in form.
Rather an unusual state of affairs.
Celtic wins..
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Whit Sammi n Stokes added .as substitutes.. Leaves me..
Aghast!
Honesly, We wir pretty Toothless..
We must get oor striking Dept.. Sorted..
Ah hope Neil, brings in . a Goal Scorer fur we badly need
Fresh Blood ..Up Front..
Sammi, is quite Useless.. Playin as a Striker..
Stokes.. is an Inside Leftl..
n.. Pukki, is A Light weight.. He tries.. but…
Happy that we won ,,though..

Still Laughin
Thank God.
That was murder,we now seem incapable of putting a group, any group,of our players on and have them resemble a team.
Imagine that Tony Watt,Ajatic, and McGeoch cant get a game ahead of Pukki and Forrest,
somebody on big money not paying attention.
Hankray,
Danny Fox and Hooveid have been awful whenever they have played.
Vic and the Holy Goalie (except v Arsenal) have been great.
Steven Davis has been very ordinary to say the least.
