Opposition were organised & decent without much apparent threat up front.
They comfortably defended their penalty box , especially both their full backs who snuffed out most of our attempts at hitting
the bye line.
Pleased with a goal advantage.
Disappointed that after we scored , all interest in a second goal disappeared from
view.
Can we be disciplined enough over there to keep a clean sheet ? I doubt it.
Hope I’m wrong.

Under peter lawwel. Celtic have qualified for CL 4 out of 12 attempts
4 out of 13 will be time to walk
Failure cannot go on being rewarded

Glad we got something from the game. Qarabag are a very tidy team. Richard(Almeda) ran the midfield for much of the game. Thought our midfield was poor with poor connection between the players. Qarabag looked to have better technical skills which allowed them to move the ball quickly. Most importantly they play as a team.
The estimated value of Qarabag is ~12 million euro whereas Celtic is valued at ~48 million. How can they put a team like that together for that money? How do they spot value players and mold them into a working unit? Something to be learned there.
Good result, average performance for me. I thought we stood off them a bit too much early on, but that was obviously planned. Fair enough, I am not the manager. Thought our front 4 were all poor with only SA getting pass marks, Brown was his usual mixture of method and madness. Positive signs are our defence looked solid, hopefully that will continue and we do look like we can score with every corner at this level.
Was puzzled at Forrest replacing SA? After Wee James poor showing tonight I can’t see that happening again.
Overall thought result was right and we need not fear them next week, I think we will go through.
