    I’d have preferred Captain Incredible to get a rest today with Engels taking his place, and for Jota to have another chance to build his match fitness with Khün being wrapped in cotton wool. And I hope we don’t suffer from a lack of familiarity in defence…

    On Sinisalo. I was watching a Finnish detective TV show on channel 4. An actress in it was called Anu Sinisalo. I couldn’t find any family links between her and Viljami, but his Grandfather Veikko Sinisalo was quite a significant actor in Finland. Means hee-haw about today’s game, but it’s amazing how supporting Celtic leads you down many different pathways!

    There’s a fair bit in the media about Bayern’s 3-0 win at the weekend and Kane’s 2 goals, but they were only 1-0 up until the 81st minute and both of Kane’s goals were penalties. Even Tavpen can score from 12 yards with no defenders anywhere near him!

    Sorry to be so morbid, but I recalled seeing this (first) video, which I think should be shown to any football fan caught entering or within a stadium with any form of pyro. And I know that we don’t have old wooden stands like this these days, but there is still plenty of flammable material within modern stadia, so although such rapid spread and scale of fire is unlikely nowadays, this still gives an idea of what can happen if fire safety isn’t taken seriously.

     

     

    LEAVE THE FIREWORKS AT HOME and stop wasting the money of decent fans on pointless fines… and potentially risking their lives!
