  1. The Donald arrives

And the crowd lets him know all about it

Doubt if he is popular in Philly, and he can never go back to Kansas

Anyways the Eagles play in green (as did Plymouth Argyle) so hope they win the SuperBowl

  2. Weebobbycollins on

    From Rangers Media

“It should be near on impossible to win as little trophies as we have in the last six years”

Surely the close season cup is a little trophy, and the ‘we had more chances than the opponent cup’ is not very big either.

  3. So spooky stuff – the Berwick Disaster happened in ‘67, today is my 67th birthday and will be remembered forever – my 67 will go down in history 😀

  4. From FF – total desperation for excuses, blaming the ball people

‘ We even operated a multi ball system and utilised a bunch of 12 yo lassies that looked like they’d never seen a football to manage it.

If you’re talking about the ball boys/ballettes, I swear there was one today, who took a berth down by the Main stand, nearing towards the Rangers end who was walking with a limp’

  5. For those that are wondering who to root for in the Super Bowl.

The Irish Roots and Early Eagles Connection

Kelly Green’s story stretches far beyond the football field, finding its origins in the emerald landscapes of Ireland. Named after the common Irish surname Kelly, this vibrant shade captures the essence of Ireland’s lush countryside and has long been associated with St.

Patrick’s Day celebrations worldwide. But in Philadelphia, it’s taken on an entirely different significance.

When the Eagles first introduced green to their color scheme in 1935, it marked the beginning of a visual legacy that would define Philadelphia football for generations. The transition away from the Frankford Yellow Jackets’ blue and yellow wasn’t just a simple color change – it represented the birth of a new era in Philadelphia sports.

    Aipple,

Don’t generally watch the sport except for the last few years – in fact since lockdown – have watched with mates.

I have been rooting for the Chiefs as i think Mahomes is a great player but just wondering -can i change who i support mid game, if the team I’m going to support are winning?

  7. Aipple and others that give a shit.

I was all in Eagles tonight – they were underdogs and play in green🍀

It’s been an underdog weekend. Mon the wee ghuys.

  8. Majestic Hartson on

    TexasTim,

To my untrained eye, the Eagles look like the only team capable of winning this.

  10. Gooooooooood morn3ng all bhoys across the globe from a 2 degree Garden of God.

Oh what a beautiful morning oh what a beautiful day…..

Let’s see who we get tonight in the draw of the SC.

I see Der Hun play their baby Edinburgh Brothers away on Saturday at midday could we be 18 points clear come Saturday night?

    Have a good day all.

    Noo where was I?

    Oh what a beautiful morning……

  11. Huns v Queens Park….

Recently we have witnessed a Hun Player ( DIOMANDE) getting OFF ” Scot Free” despite SLAPPING an opposition player in the face deliberately.

Last night as I watched the Huns game, yet again I saw at LEAST TWO instances of Hun players putting their hands on Queens Park players late on, by attempting to HAUL the Queens Park players back to their feet, when they went down with CRAMP.

The Ref took NO ACTION against the Hun players.

What ” RIGHT” do those Hun players have to lay their hands on the opposition players whenever they feel the need to do so ?

The arrogance from Clement and his mob is to be seen to be believed, and just because they are losing a game, SHOULD NOT give them a free pass to enable them to lay their hands on any opposition player, and without any punishment from the officials..

The Huns attitude ( of Staff, Players and Fans) appears to be….” How dare you try and beat us” !

    LOL

    …………..

    Your welcome young fella.

Thats good to hear. You will not be forgetting your 67th Birthday with the Huns getting gubbed by the MIGHTY Queens Park in the Cup !

    LOL

  13. Queen’s Park’s 1-0 win at Ibrox means Rangers have lost a home tie in the Scottish Cup to a team from a lower division for the first time in the club’s 153-year history. (TalkSport)

    From BBC Scotland gossip column.

Inside SMSM offices last night and this morning……

    ‘It’s bad Billy, really bad’

‘How do we report this, any upside, there must be an upside?’

‘Remember when everything else has gone wrong, again, remember the ‘unbroken history’ always remember the history, it’s all we have’

    ‘Wait…’

  14. Listening to THEMS bloggers insisting on a new manager who plays a modern version of the Jock Wallace way. I think one actually said a traditional and progressive football coach…

    😂 😂

  16. I assume they are going to bag Clement, as the Board and CEO is all they have. But what they are doing now is looking for some Hun with money to stump up the cash for the pay off?

  17. Where do you start with this from Fuhrer Fuhrer –

“I don’t say this lightly I’d rather Rangers went bust whilst trying to become great again than accept this nonsense. This isn’t the football club we all grew up supporting mate” .

  18. bournesouprecipe on 9th February 2025 9:18 pm

Spare a thought for all the rangers fans who had already left and came running back in to see the penalty only to watch them miss it

Bourne, reading back from last night THAT made me giggle! Lovely image.

  19. I saw a video of Steely? Sevco fan who reports about pre game, match and afterwards etc. 10 minutes and 30 seconds in is the Tavpen miss and then the final whistle. Amongst all the usual expletive laden venom coming from those around him as the players are leaving the field there is one guy who shouts,

‘not very good, is it?’ to the departing Sevco players

I thought that was so funny considering those around him were spouting some much hatred, venom and vitriol? He was disappointed but not too much, maybe he is now at the acceptance stage of grief for the Dead Club?

  20. Only thing missing yesterday was a studio based Sportscene , crammed fu of ebt recipients , with Neilito explaining in graphic detail where it all when wrong , rounded off by staunchness about going through players to get the right response
