  1. lets all do the huddle on

    😄😄😄

surely the funniest auto-correct/typo ever on here

    💁🏻‍♂️

  2. I liked the look of Murray, confident, good with the ball at his feet, taller than I remember

  3. Great entertainment yet again.9 changes,no difference.What a credit to BR.

Think I would give Schlupp a start on Wednesday.Calmac,Hatate Schlupp. We need strength in there on Wednesday.Don’t be fooled, this guy can get all over the park, and has the experience.

Well, its going to be Kuhn,Idah,Jota on Wednesday.Just need the big man poaching.Sure the crosses will be there.

    Watching the Madrid’s now.

  4. Good result for (mostly) the B Team.

The A Team will hopefully be analysing the videos of the Celtic v Dortmund and Leipzig and Feyenoord v Bayern games in the next couple of days. If we can keep Bayern at arm’s length and avoid conceding any penalties (I think they’ve scored 13 this season!), then we have the quality on the break to cause an upset. 🤞🍀🙏

  5. Great performance and result.

Exactly what we wanted and needed. Using the domestic cups positively to enhance our match ready playing squad..

A lot of positives with our changes. A lot learned.

    Well done BR and team.

PS : Maeda through the middle is a far better striker option than what we could possibly hope to buy.

  6. Very well done Celtic, very entertaining, pity about Bernardo getting injured but BR thinks he should be fine and was taken off as a precaution, Daizen is flying, what a player, work rate finishing pressing everything a secret weapon for the 2nd leg, I’m hopeful of getting a result on Wednesday night.

  7. Great result. Many Thanks for updates. Normally would be at Paradise as it’s a cup game but sitting freezing at Galabank, Annan, watching grandson play his first game under floodlights.

Tell you what, this plastic pitch really puts Killie to shame.

Our leccy was back off yesterday and some of today for permanent repairs after last week’s storm, so catching up was a real pleasure considering some really sincere and reflective posts. Very refreshing.

Speedy recovery to BURNLEY 78 and a huge Well Done to the players and support tonight.

  8. Yes, the manager of the Japanese national team knows how good Maeda

is as a striker through the middle.

    Top Bhoy he is !!!

  9. Fantastic to hear how good we were with a scratch team tonight. Perfect build up for Wednesday. Yang confidence will have boosted also as he will possibly feature as a sub at some point.

Hoping we draw the govan lot in next round at CP.

Fond memories of the 1970 quarter final and beating them 3-1 at CP.

It would be quite a period for thems as they would be away in Europe on Thursday then at us on cup duty Sunday then home Europe the following Thursday and then at us again. On the Sunday.

For us if we were to get through v Munich then we would have our CL ties a day or two earlier in the week. Hopefully back in Germany against wee Jeremy’s lot. Oh my dayz.

Possibly getting to a CL QF and beating the rangers twice in 8 days.

    That would be nice.

  10. Scaniel

Thanks to you and everyone for kind words. A wee bit of post op pain but really on the mend and hoping to pass a fitness test from my good lady in time to get along on Wednesday night.

    Bravo 👏

Imagine when we have a Daizen Maeda sized hole in the team 😮

Co-opted narratives always get my goat.

  12. If we had spent 15 million on a striker and he got six goals in 3 games we’d be thinking we’d hit the jackpot.

In my limited view, it would be hard to argue that Idah should be the main man just because Maeda can also play wide. Maeda simply offers a lot more – his tracking back and relentless pressing in conjunction with his goals is priceless.

  13. If he keeps this form up,will be a few clubs interested in the summer.

Atletico at the dark arts again.Softest of penalties, and VAR gave it.1-0 AM.

  14. Burnley 78 – Heal well and I hope your better half gives you the green light on Wednesday. Just make sure you put a cushion up your jumper in case anyone punches you in delight when Jota scores.

I liked the look of Murray, confident, good with the ball at his feet, taller than I remember

    ____

He didn’t have to defend but looks comfortable on the ball and very accurate passing. Maybe like to see a bit more aggression though that wasn’t really required today. Has filled our a bit since I watched him in a covid reduced capacity in one of Ange’s first games. Am very hopeful this boy can develop into a a top player. I see someone mentioned the dark arts of Athletico. They went out of their way to get Maeda sent off as he was occupying their whole right side. Would have been a very different result had they not.

  16. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Brighton beat Chelsea.

Matt O’Riley came on as a sub and didn’t put a foot wrong.

  17. Watching the BBC highlights.

The Airdrie strip looks like the players are wearing a sash. Ive always thought that. Lol.

    😀😀

  18. Brendan is a top manager

So glad we have him …

    (Still shouldn’t have left)

But we all make mistakes… MissGFTB away to the match today with her pal, I got ditched :-)

  19. A real mix for recent ex celts today.

O Riley got 1 minute in Brighton beating Chelsea

Iwata scored another worldy in Birmingham loss to Newcastle

Kyogo didn’t get on for Rennes in their 2-0 win at St Etienne which takes them to mid table.

  20. Deniabhoy

    Definitely a cushion needed. Thanks.

I have a feeling it might actually be required.

  21. Saturday was a good day

    Good to see Sinasalo

Dane Murray, good touch, kept the line well

    Sm criticism,decide earlier bout heading

Dont let the ball bounce, make it yours be decisive.

    HH

  22. Dane Murray looked strong and assured yesterday. You could see he had something 3 yrs ago but injuries stopped his development but if he gets a clear run and some game time we could have a player.

Pity about Cummings if true he is off. He will be further away from 1st at WHU than at Celtic so what’s the rush? Clearly ££ has an effect but to me it’s more about playing environment. B team in Lowland league is hopeless for good strong prospects as it doesn’t test them and give them the step up they clearly need. In England you can imagine the 2nd team or reserve league is full of quality and experienced pro players and that what’s needed for the good kids to continue to develop. Well miss that stop badly in Scotland
