    Still shaking. Think I’ll leave the analysis till tomorrow. What we got was heart stopping entertainment , a win that will hurt them more than a 5 nil drubbing, a 13 point lead with 7 games left to play. When all the hype dies down it will still go down as a very special win that we will remember for all the right reasons. We will watch recordings of today’s highlights for years with smiles on our faces.

     

    The shit and there was plenty of it will be soon forgotten.

    Half time was a bummer.

     

     

    We should have had more than a 1 goal lead. But halftime meant players had time to reflect and possibly relax. Probably also allowed Lennon to make decision on Hayes sub. Was he injured (kick in the head)? Was it the yellow (and Madden maybe looking to even it up). Personally I thought Tierney was done and should have been protected from himself.

     

     

    No idea why Kent wasn’t sent off. Which would have meant Boyata wouldn’t have done his hammy.

     

     

    Unusually downbeat after beating them. Because the scoreline should have been a hammering.

    Dec 29 erased.We scored more than ‘them’ have more points than ‘them’ have the league cup,gunning for the Scottish cup.We lost our way a little bit in the second half…..but hey the day belongs to us.Let the media spin all they want about ‘them’ coming so close to getting a POINT.As I have just stated the day belongs to us…WE got the three points so enjoy the day,they are a hurting BIG time.

    You could see KT was done well before he went off , couldn’t run for a pass he would normally have kept in. Surprised Lenny didn’t see it…..Toljan wasn’t nearly ready to come on.

     

    Eddy’s best game for a long time but big Kris gets MOTM for me….a Celtic captain in the making.

    Sky coverage. Dreadful. Cut off on channel 501 (Virgin). But continued for 15 mins on 503. No announcement to say that. And for those recording, no chance. Why put it on two channels but have different end times.

    I’m glad Kent’s punch on Brown was caught on camera…cited , surely? With Halliday also getting second yellow and nae Morelas , they could be without a few key players for the next few games and will likely drop more points.

    In both the Morelos and Kent incidents with Broonie, the BBC site does not attempt to justify the violent play but clearly states provocation:

     

     

    “But after a loose pass from Rangers captain James Tavernier, Celtic pounced, Forrest racing in to the box to slide in the winner, before Kent shoved Brown to the ground as the Celtic skipper prevented him retrieving the ball for kick-off.”

     

     

    Shove/push? The photos on the LIVE analysis site make it look a dramatic punch. Whatever it was, there certainly should be punishment. I thought Kent was out to advertise his wares in the wake of rumours linking him with Celtic but he came out today as a right hun.

    Kris Ajer is growing in to the realest of real deals. Absolutely immense today before and after he lost half his defensive partners. And he gets it too.

     

     

    KT injury probably cost us the goal, but until then they were going nowhere.

     

     

    Olivier was tiring and had to come off after a really good game. So KT staying on was inevitable. You can’t always legislate for another injury and we were unlucky to have to replace dedryk.

     

     

    It must be really sickening for them. Equaliser from nothing, KT and DB go off injured soon after and they are thinking ‘get a winner, 7 points in it’ – to 13 point gap in less than half an hour!

     

     

    Plagued by injuries and dubious form all season long, lose a manager at a crucial time and we are 13 points ahead by the end of March.

    great 3 its. hard to watch 2nd half, we should have buried them but think SS for JH was the wrong decision (hindsight is a great thing) we made it hard for ourselves ,strange subs from NL , but we never give up and accept anything other than a win , 3 wins to fly the flag .

    I thought Davis and Defoe would have been used at some point to ‘guarantee’ goals and proven quality. Surprised they didn’t put those expensive loan players to use for at least some part of the game.

    Will not comment on a game i didnt see. However I am happy with result ,analysis can wait. I did e see see a brief highlight piece and think Madden did not see the Kent push? Nice finish by James football for the winner .

     

    I went through gym before game and this was the first few songs on my i pod when i hit shuffle….Yes- Mcalmont & Butler, Blue Monday and True Faith – New Order, Ice Cream- New Young Pony Club, Finder – Ninetoes Any wonder i was confident we would win?

    I’m in the ‘enjoy’ the result camp today. The orcs will have that wee bit of hope left. I love that. It’ll be the death of their club. Again.

    They’ll have a team of world beaters before the end of the close season. Panty wetters on here will be declaring Armageddon. And then the fun starts again.

     

     

    That first half was a reminder that when we play Sevco we play a second rate tribute act. That’s their level. They got a bit of luck and their tails up as a result. But where was the quality? They don’t have it any more than Aberdeen have it. They can graft and grind out a result against us now and then. But genuine contenders they ain’t. Their central defenders were lauded as the best in the country in September and every so often since. They are utter dug plop. The midfield that dominated our in December? Jack? Anonymous. Arfield? MIA. McCrorie? Was he playing?

     

     

    Tavernier? Capable of a flash of decent play now and then, but in reality a poor man’s anton rogan without the heart that anton had.

     

     

    Their big name loanees are like those who went before them – alves, senderos, kranjcar, Barton. They’ve sold a few tickets. Sold the jerseys.

     

     

    Yet another rebuild needed in their summer.

     

     

    We’ve got work to do. But it’s the difference between building a house and decorating one.
