Well , Sevco will (hopefully) never get an easier game at CP than that .
How has it got to this? 8 seasons on from being bust and in the fourth tier , they are now able to put a better team out on the park than we can? That’s actually a question that DD , the board and management should be asking.
Missing players is a part excuse, but it seems that Gerrard has definitely got the measure of Lenny.
Only one team was properly prepared for this game . Only one team was focusing on the ten …….the one that wants to stop it .

You reap what you sow.
Lawwell giving Lennon the job in the showers was done because of the way Rodgers publicly tore him to shreds, so cronyism became the order of the day,
Lawwell got his yes man, a guy sacked from Hibs and Bolton, who was never suitably qualified for the post.
All to suit Lawwell, not the club.
Lawwell’s number two is a guy who never coached anywhere except Celtic…the ultimate jobs for the boys.
His number three is Lawwell’s pals son..the ultimate cronyism.
Celtic regard themselves as a world renowned club.
The fan base is.
However, when you see the way the club selects its major appointments through ‘who you know’ rather than the required ability to hold such positions, then today was on the cards.
We made average players in the sevco team look quality.
All down to their standard of coaching and the contrast with Lawwell’s cronies.
Root out the cancer, metaphorically speaking, Peter Lawwell, and bring in a general manager who will recruit on merit.

Where to start with that?
The first half was bad.
Half time the manager gets an opportunity to attempt at a salvage job while still technically in the game, he thinks nothing is the answer.
We could have easily been down 4 nil in 15 minutes.
Just 2 then makes changes as his players are looking dejected and already beaten.
The second half was absolutely horrific.
That’s the biggest worry for me, he needed a reaction and it got much worse.
The bigger gamble is now to keep him in place, that really pains to say that about a legend.
Trying to hit 40 yard diagonals to Frimpong was the final straw.
Our playmaker, is the worst passer in the team, Duffy.
Yes Sevco are leaving him on the ball as he’ll just give them it back but we need to find another way or they are dictating the play.
Their is zero strategy or coaching that anyone can see.
I thought that second half performance was the worst in years, or at least since St Johnstone in our last game, we couldn’t string 2 passes together, no surprises here.
Something has to give or change or no 10 we’ve even played the easier fixtures.
