    Some great football at times today. For the most part a very good performance. Our play while trying to see out games is devoid of the basics at times. That can wait though. A great weekend in store and 3 in a row all but wrapped up.

    I don’t think he will change it for the rest of the season. I still think Rocky is a better defender than Liam Scales but we need a better quality centre back with height to play along CCV. He makes so many basic mistakes in every game he plays. Nice humble guy but no thanks. GT is just too small and is very limited.

     

    Two full backs with a bit of height and pace is a must. AJ took a sore one today but he has not recovered the from his first six months after the bad injury.

    That will have taken a lot out of the players today , physically and psychologically . I would take a point at Killie to make it official, then turn on the style against St Mirren at CP . The cup final will take care of itself.

     

    I’d also be surprised if huns don’t drop points over their last two games after today’s body blow .

    So today you pick out GT for being poor?.What did he do wrong?.You obviously never saw,or pretended not to,Scales shocking use of the ball.Even with them down to 10 men,midfield wide open,he continued it.Very poor today.1st half today,GT was up against a monster.Done very well.

    Thought we should have had another pen – the hand ball for Rangers player sticking out an elbow to delflect the cross away when he knew he was beat. Sky never looked at it but a clear pen for me.

    Well, after almost 50 years of working, 40 as a shop stewart or union rep, I finally retired yesterday.

    Celtics win is the best birthday present ever, except for the grandkids at todays bbq.

     

    I am with Brendan Rodgers on the Scales question. So good he has been given a new 4 year contract. Cmon the champions

    Right now my overwhelming feeling is one of relief but the joy & celebration will surface soon,

     

     

    For a period this year it looked like we weren’t going to win League.

     

    We put in some shocking performances and Huns were getting Penalties for fun.

     

     

    In the end they cracked & God Bless Ross County & Dundee, however in the 4 Derbies we won three and drew one, and that is the reason we will win 12 out of 13 Titles.

     

     

    I know well we have serious shortcomings & we need a clear out and some serious Investment in the squad for next year.

     

     

    However that has to wait, right now it’s time for all of us Celtic Supporters all over the World to unite in a Massive Cyber, Mental Joyful Huddle.

     

     

    We have skelped the Huns again, that is all that counts.

    I remember huffing and puffing against Motherwell,1966.Last gasp goal from Buzz Bombs shin,sealed the league.And that was the Lions!!!!.Anyone remember it ?Maybe a few on here,but its in the history books.

    Well that was a rollercoaster and a half but all that matters is the three points.

    I fully expect us to be celebrating winning the league on Tuesday night

     

    and , if not then , then Wednesday night but it’s not over till it’s over.

     

     

    Huge result today – if it weren’t for Butland it would have been a mauling.

     

     

    Hopefully Phil Macgiollabhain is right that he’s has put in a transfer request.

    Quick look at FF.Amazingly,nobody thought that was not a Red Card.Lundstrom getting Pelter’s.Soooooooo,we have the most bigoted sight,the whole of the SS panel,the VAR,the Ref,All agreeing,and that Cretin, on the commentary ,Miller,going against everybody,and in his wee bigoted brain,thinking only he is right.

     

    An embarrassment,but will retain his job on SS.

    VAR then spends an age trying to find a way to rule out the goal for offside.

    Wasn’t at the game at Motherwell but I remember waiting desperately for the result.

     

     

    However I was at the “last minute Lennox” game v Morton at Celtic Park a couple of years later.

     

     

    Also 0-0 at half time v St Mirren and not playing well and finding out the hun had shipped 4 goals to the sheep which could have handed them the league on goal difference.

     

     

    A lot of our title wins in my life time have been hard fought till the end of the season.

     

     

    Makes it all the sweeter for me.

    Your opinion,but not shared by every fan I know.Maybe with coaching he will improve,has the basics to,but at the moment too slow on the ball,not good enough,for his height,in the air.Rash decisions under pressure.

     

    He has done a good job,but watching the game,not in the same League as CCV.Needs coached.
