  1. McPhail Bhoy on

    Big Jimmy

I think you’re very hard on Tavpen at our goal, he not only did not follow his man but as usual with pretty much every goal they concede he also put his hand up for offside and then berated his team mates for conceding the goal.

He really doesn’t have time to do any defending when he’s got all of that to do

  2. Thought the pitch had a negative impact on our quick passing game yesterday, the ball seemed to move slowly across the pitch and lost count of the number of times our players lost their footing in key areas. Was the grass kept longer because of the women’s cup final today?

  3. McPhail Bhoy on

More on Tavpen, well actually more about his completely delusional Hun football club. On Hun TV the interviewer asks him this, ‘difficult to take that result as we were the better team’. What are they on about how were they the better team, their delusions known no end, long may it continue!

  4. Weebobbycollins on

Well done to Brendan and the bhoys. It was winners versus losers.

Tavernier must be really sick of being always second best to us. If it weren’t for us he would be a real hun legned in their ludge of shame/fame.

  5. TEXASTIM @ 8:45 AM,

Yes, it’s probably why they’ve managed to get results in Europe, but are woefully uncreative in attack.

We know where we have to strengthen and have the means to do that… they, as you say, are in dire straits for the UCL playoffs.

    Hail Hail

  6. David 66. Will be at Mass soon and will keep Margaret in my prayers. Could you say one for a young sister who also has cancer? God take care of them both. St Peregrine pray for them.

Yep, that and early morning call from No1 Daughter delayed proceedings…

So let’s get this party started… or in TEXASTIM’s case carry on regardless…

    Chilterns bhoy 👍

    ———————————-

    When is handball, – handball.

In a race with the much more complex offside, or as they used to call it on shortbread ‘Larsson was nearly offside’ handball has apparently been changed again in time for late night Sportscene’s two geniuses Peter Grant and Kenny Misser

Ben Davies at least by the look of relief on his face knew he handled the ball, he probably in fairness doesn’t have a clue about drinking holes in Lanarkshire. The silhouette had him incredibly guilty, but there was no stomach for an early Celtic award in line with the R2angers game plan.

Reinventing the rules Kings Park style just won’t do, a player that has played for all three old firm teams, calls all the big decisions R2angers way. He’s the only over 12 person on TV, that thought it was ok to say John Lundstram’s tackle wasn’t a red or Ben Davies’s plain sight handball wasn’t ‘intentional. ‘ We must ask John Beaton or the SFA if Tomoki Iwata’s at Tynecastle was?

Give the game half a chance and get it sorted for football, handball and bawhair offside needs fixing, but it can’t be done without the planned changes of direction.. Removing partiality in Scotland is another matter, and will see us all away, for now Celtic supporters are still tied to the Jock Stein mantra of, they can’t chalk them all off. This works with VAR for partiality in a cumulative effect, and by the second half , they couldn’t further miss out Nicolas Raskin’s two hand shove on Joe Hart.

    Mine’s a double big man.

  11. Tunnel vision

Rangers players didn’t hang around to watch their bitter rivals lift the Scottish Cup. James Tavernier led the Light Blues up the podium but Ibrox representatives were quick to whisk the team straight down the tunnel. In fairness, Jack Butland was willing to stick but he was told to follow the team back to the changing room. Some Celtic fans had spilled onto the Hampden running track so perhaps it was a security measure.

    Been reading back.

    JIMTIM

So you mock posters for predicting a big win yesterday and you call them “triumphalist”.

Who do you think you are?

They are Celtic supporters looking ahead to a massive game. They’re biased, as we all are, and are entitled to predict whatever score they see fit.

Where does triumphalism come into it? It’s before the game. Triumphalism is lording it over a defeated opponent and has nothing to do with Celtic supporters telling Celtic supporters Celtic will win 5-1.

    Get a grip.

  13. DAVID66 and CONNAIRE12

Prayers said for Margaret and the young sister for a full and speedy recovery!

    May God bless them!

  14. I was going to post about the huns but after my last post I will desist and retire for the day,

  15. Tom McLaughlin on

    Watched Clement’s post-match BBC interview.

He claimed Rangers had 6 shots on target to Celtic’s 2.

    What game was he watching?

Official stats say Celtic 4 shots on target and Rangers 3.

After the last league game at Celtic Park, he claimed victory because “Rangers had more XG (expected goals) than Celtic.

Again, the stats said Celtic 3.2 and 1.8 Rangers. Not that I set much store by XG but that’s not the point.

The guy’s a charlatan and has been found out. If and when Celtic steam ahead early next season, he’ll be gone by Christmas.

🎶Oh Harry Harry Harry Harry Harry Harry Harry Harry……………..Hood🎶

    RIP

  17. Taurangabhoy on

It’s been a roller coaster season and we are champions again, champions again, doubled up. Can’t describe how this feels. I wasn’t sure about Brendan but he has delivered and he is the prodigal child, it’s about family. Never a truer word. Hail hail. Love you all on CQN 💚🍀🏆🏆

  18. Tom McLaughlin on

A couple of years ago, my then 5 year-old grandson — Harry — asked me if there was ever a Celtic player called Harry.

“Of course,” I replied. “There was a great Celtic player called Harry Hood.”

I then sang the ‘Harry Harry Harry Hood’ chant to him. He was well chuffed.

A few days later I was with his father, my son. He told me Harry was lying on the floor drawing and had started singing the Harry Hood chant.

    Now we were both chuffed.

    Hail Hail
