    I’ve always considered the league as a competition to experiment with players and systems. However, when you get to the final, it takes on a life of its own.

    Sitting here waiting for the ko and absolutely no angst whatsoever, and huvnae for several years now no matter who we play, however a couple of nights back I woke up early doors, its an age thing, and started to think about the game, no worry, just contemplating it, and it was all about a statement mentioned on here that no matter what, even if God forbid they actually prevail at the end of the day we are still well ahead of them in points and GD as well as likely progressing in Europe, as well as financially.

     

     

    My thoughts then were, should they gain that mythical best team in the world advantage, so what, it will be short lived as approx. 5 months from now we will have not only caught up with them but after clinching the double we will go one better.

    Sadly no ticket today so watching from home – don’t like the pub for these games….

     

    A wee bit nervous as our form has shaded a little last few weeks and like it or not they seemed to have improved but from a very low base.

     

    We need to move them around at the back and use the big pitch to get them turned – loads of space for front guys to run into with some passes in behind. We do not need to invite them on us playing our every time – mix it up Celts and we will mix them up…..
