  1. C.O.Y.B.I.G.

CELTIC: Schmeichel, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Nawrocki, Schlupp, Engels, Hatate, McCowan, Kuhn, Maeda, Jota.

Subs: Sinisalo, Taylor, Idah, Yang, Kenny, Murray, Ralston, Bonnar, Turley

  2. Looks like we are unleashing Rocki – go get them big man…

    COYBIG

    Hail Hail

  3. Good luck Celtic 3 points please be on it from the start to the finish. Be utterly ruthless.

  4. Bench is very light with Nawrocki the stand out selection in the team.

I think we’ll win today but patience will be needed – it’ll be a low block from them to negate the pace of our front 3.

  5. Good luck Celtic.

Obvious concern that there is no proven midfielder on the bench.

‘Interesting’ to give Maik Nawrocki his first start. I guess there was no alternative. Best of luck to him.

  6. One of my many pre game superstitions, is that I like the first post on the live updates thread to be the team.

    Thank you, Bognorbhoy

  7. Rocky?! This’ll be interesting to see. As will how brave the referee is in the face of Ferguson’s Thugs… off the back of their dress rehearsal on Thursday, when they had a magnificent SEVEN players booked!

  8. A couple of serious changes today plus our bench is lighter.

But, thats the way it goes. Watch out for hun dark arts throughtout.

A win will set the huns back on their collective arses.

A versre of Hail Glorious St Patrick wouldn’t go astray, even for a non Catholic like myself.

    Hail Hail.

  9. So does Luke slot into the Calmac role, or does Arne sit deeper?

Of two players to lose ahead of a Sevvy clash, Cal and Auston’s omission is a concern to me.

  10. The patience Brendan preaches to the younger players to wait their chance is paying off today for some. Good luck to them .

Their team seems very physical, no thought from Ferguson to protect those with injuries for Europe.

Predicted 3-1 on Superbru but might be closer than that

  11. Yesterday I watched the highlights of the 5-0 title clincher from April 2018. It was 5 going on 10 or 11. I’ll take that today. 🤞

Interesting to see how they start the game after Thursday’s exertions and without the huge majority of their own fans behind them . They are bound to feel it as the game wears on . We must keep moving them around to wear them down with our pace . Hope Nawrocki and McCowan have a blinder .

Was Scales already out in the build up today or is that another surprise?

    _____

    Scales was already injured.

  14. Always hoped Rocky would be a good yin, but we’ve not seen enough of him. We do lose Trusty’s pace. Just seems strange that Rocky has been so far our of the picture, then gets in ahead of Murray. I guess another midfield option is bringing Taylor on and putting Schlupp in mid.

    Super confident

But these games are rarely one sided

I hope we win comfortably and enjoy the day

I expect a bit of nervous tension

Either way the big picture is we win the league

    Conservative prediction 3 nil

I should be a bit more relaxed knowing the league’s as good as won but I can never lose the nerves when we’re facing that lot . Any kind of win will be fine .

Somebody mentioned our suspect defence earlier and we’ve just seen it in action .
