It was never a penalty let alone a yellow card.

Just watched Osmands goal again . One of my gripes has been seeing balls played across the face of goal with none of our players anticipating and attacking it . Great to see someone score the kind of goal we’ve been missing since Kyogo’s hayday .

“Lots of Hunnish comments and language on the blog today. On a day when the Bhoys were immense.”
I agree and it’s a shame. I understand that we can get very emotional during the game but some of the comments were over the top. And this constant blaming the ref is diluted when you read that the hordes are blaming him for their defeat. I heard wee Doddsy on shortbread? Such bitterness, going on and on and on about Trusty raking his studs down Butland;s face…and how Ralston deserved a second yellow card for the penalty…
Blimey that was more stressful than it needed to be
Great start great goal great first half
Not sure what happened in the second half
We let them back in and we couldn’t find the second goal
When they got the penalty I started to have the same feeling I had watching the last 2 hours of the Ryder Cup
Thankfully like the Ryder Cup we went on to dominate in extra time – winning comfortably
Work in progress Martin and thank you

Could’ve been 6-1 with more clinical finishing
and 6-0 with fair reffing/var . Can understand Jamesie’s anxiety to increase his amazing record of scoring in succesive seasons

A proper football match between two teams who wanted to win it. We outfought them in the first half, defended brilliantly in the second and then our better players won it for us in extra time.
Great to see the winning mentality return.
Their manager looks like he’s got something about him, that was an impressive performance after half time.
Scales and Trusty were immense, Scarachi should keep his place, the midfield were outnumbered but outplayed theirs. Jamesie changed the game when he came in, as good as hes played against them
Martin has given the entire club a lift. Happy days

Shaun must be given a lot of credit for this week. Any new manager coming in needs someone who knows the players and the club, or is that old school?

It struck me after the game that Tav is probably expecting and happy with the softball questions.
However, I reckon the new manager is pretty surprised. He’s probably thinking his decisions will be questioned and wondering whether to throw in some excuses. No need. The interviewer does it for you. Ridiculous interviews on at least 2 of the channels

“Raked his studs down Butlands face”, really?.Would that be the same Butland that looked up,perfectly well, without a mark on him?.
Ralston’s penalty. Falling on his face, arms iinside his body line, ball hits him on top of arm that is not making the body bigger..Anyway,Love it 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
All the moe enjoyable for seeing our new futures superstar,😍😎,Donny Osmand 😍😎..
Brilliant from the kid.Everything about his play tells you why he was so highly rated in England.
Pace,brains,skill,missed one scored one.He is the real deal.Never mind,WTF do I know 😂,
LIAM SCALES and AUSTON TRUSTY were Excellent, as was CALLUM our Skipper.
TRUSTY was a bit lucky when he tapped the Hun Goalie on the heid with his OPEN INSTEP….
I saw that ugly Hun Ned ” DIAMONDE” ( and possibly RASKIN ) trying to start a fight with some Celtic players at the end of the game…
Likewise that wee Cheatin Hun ” GASSAMA” for deliberately trying to score after Celtic had put the ball out of play cos of an injury.
The ugly cheatin Huns got what they deserved….End of.

Turned on Shortbread and was pretty shocked, even for them is sounded like a hun podcast. Banging on endlessly about ‘decisions’, suggesting that was why their team lost, hinting at refereeing bias. And we have to pay a licence for this. They are really hurting which is funny; but employing hun fanboys is a disgrace for a public service broadcaster.

Obviously never saw the is second half against Hibs. The formation of 3-5-2, a shambles.Hibs should have coasted it.The SMSM,as they do,will shower him with love, and the odd platitude, like you,but if he could not see it on Wednesday, and goes again today, it shows he has the same mind set as Martin.Wait a couple of months, and we will talk again.
Who knows? I’m a yes! New manager (or even our new old manager might get him ticking .

Partly frustrated that we didn’t do a 6-2, which we could have, but if it lets them carry on, believing delusionally that they have turned a corner, very good. They will lose a lot of points methinks and Danny will go the same way as the rest.

This from Wikipedia…
On 30 June 2025, Osmand signed with Celtic until 2029.[3] Previously he played with Fulham at youth and development level. On signing for Celtic, Manager Brendan Rodgers said “We are really pleased to bring Callum to Celtic. He is a highly-rated, talented young player. He has some real attributes. He’s a quick and powerful striker and I’m really looking forward to working with him. I’m sure he can be really successful with us”.
Under Rodgers, Osmand did not play a single game, but Martin O’Neill gave him his debut on 28 October 2025 against Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership, in O’Neill’s first game in charge. Four days later, Osmand netted his first senior goal, scoring Celtic’s third in their 3–1 victory over Rangers in the Scottish League Cup semi-final.[8]
