I thought he did well today, thats all, with some real duds in his squad. They were probably the better team in the second half and when they got to extra time it looked to me like they were going to a low block to play for penalties until Calmac smashed one in
Night and day between that team and the one we played at Ibrox, it was a different formation to what I’d seen them play before but they all seemed to know what to do.
I think we’ll have a challenge from them soon

As wonderful as that sounds, I’m going to be the killjoy here and say that with a massive January window coming up (made massive due to the summer shocker), we really need the new guy in ASAP.
btw – their right back/right sided defender – one of the worst players I’ve ever seen in a game v them – wouldnt let him play in our 5’s game during the week and some of us are almost 60

A tonne of great headers, tackles blocks and trackings that go unoticed
he works his ass off, and only gets noticed when he mis places a pass (he struggles here for sure) but he is a solid ball winning and dominant centre half
That one tackle was a tiny part of his overall game
Scales gets shit for the one or mistakes he makes per game but he wins so many headers, makes great tackles (mostly all are not goal saving), tracks runs, blocks space and initiates attacks
