If we win 4-0 in every away league game for the remainder of the season and alternate between 5-1 and 4-0 wins in all our home games, we’ll just about match the level achieved last season! We need to win every game, scoring 77 goals and conceding no more than 5.
For a team that needs 4 or 5 gilt edged chances to score a single goal, and which is shipping 2.25 goals every game, I’m sure your system, tactics and game awareness will enable your team to achieve this. No doubt you will know what you have to do to make this better and to match the outcomes of last season… you just need the team to have four or five moments in each game, with each of those leading to a goal scored by your team. And the barn door needs to be well and truly bolted shut! (If we take seven little moments out of a particular game last season, Celtic would have won 1-0 in Dortmund!)

For those suggesting that Nancy’s Celtic are showing relegation form, their record for his 8 matches in charge is actually worse than every other team’s first 8 games in the SPL this season, so had Nancy’s 8 games all been league games from the start of the season Celtic would be bottom of the league!.
We lost more games in the first half of this SPL season than we did in the whole of last season, and we’ve started the second half of the season with a home defeat. It is very likely that our defeats column in the league table will reach double figures… possibly before Easter!
