Small point totally overlooked.
Average time to restart after rangers goals was over 2 minutes 30 seconds. Thats 7 minute 30 seconds minimum of time lost. Not a word from McLean.

I am astonished at how poorly highly paid executives have performed at Celtic FC. We had a manager that won 12 out of 14 Trophies competed for and they refused to back him.
Brendan should have resigned the day after the Transfer window closed and I am sure the fans would have supported his decision.
Desmond stated he was toxic. Why did he offer him an extension to his contract if that was the case? I know for a fact that the people who worked daily with him respected him.
Nicholson will not resign as he is a young man with a young family on a salary that he could have only dreamed about. Once he is dismissed, I would be surprised if he ever attains this salary in his working life as he does not have the skills to be a COE.
Everyone involved in the selection and appointment of Nancy should be sacked. This guy has achieved the square root of nothing in football. His team finished 7th in the league scoring 55 goals and conceding 51 in 34 games. How on earth did anyone believe that he was the best manager that we could get to follow Brendan Rodgers a serial winner?
Incompetence and a toxic environment at Board and Senior Management level has destroyed our season.

Desmond has always said Ross was the Celtic man in the house.
What has changed Ross Desmond made an absolute bollocks off it with his naive telling off to the anti establishment fans — which is the roots of Celtic. He will never be forgiven or accepted by the fans even the well to do ones who remain humble. In fact less so by them …
By not knowing this he has shown an out of touch arrogance which has been part of his exclusive upbringing. Ailesbury Road Dublin D4 is helluva different to anywhere in Glasgow.
Dermot has no one to give the club too — others seem to have no interest and will probably harbour the same views. None of them will be trusted by the fans.
The environment is important to understand Celtic. Celtic fans are the club and it is a very broad ship but the Board have driven a massive wedge between clubs and the fans. There are several layers to this and the fans feel cheated on so many levels and the last hing they need is a west Brit lecturing them (not Dermot a Cork man).
Desmond will come to the conclusion there is no natural heir for controlling Celtic—- his best option is probably to sell. It’s fairly simple appoint strategic advisers and let the tango begin. A fairly low key transaction with no major regulatory approval could be finalised in 6 months. So loans in January with maybe a striker would be the order of the day to keep £80M in the bank to incentivise market and a possible title win to sweeten any deal (lipstick on the pig).
Desmond took his eye off the ball , distracted with the deal they are trying to push through no doubt and similar to the Lennon shower appointment Lawwell played a sneaky fast one to get the outcome he wanted.
However careful what you wish for as any US, Arab, UK investors are looking for a return — not just paltry preferred share dividends.
I just feel Desmond will have had enough at his age and does he want to put his family through this shit.
Ultimately Desmond is accountable for the mess we are in including a useless , weak incompetent board and execs who are not fit for purpose. He is also responsible for Tisdale and Nancy.
In my opinion the Celtic light that shone is diminished greatly for him especially when I seen him sitting alone after the 7 1 game in Dortmund , Rodgers v Lawwell round 2 and now this debacle with his son being the butt of the Celtic fans gallows humour.
He should go and enjoy his golf and his family and leave will he still has some goodwill in the bank and his legacy could be to set Celtic up by pulling off a masterpiece deal. It’s not impossible a few have been done in 25 and more will be done in 26.

Its not managed decline, that would suggest some form of control. Its decline, nothing more, nothing less.
Focus, as said before, was wrong from the start. All people in senior positions at our club are Desmond approved. Collective et al should have been after him from the get go. Easier targets were Nicholson and McKay. No strategy to pressurise DD.
