  2. What a day. From the GB display to the lap of honour. Well done to the Bhoys.

I thought our Captain was immense and Kris Commons is a clever player in total contrast to Bartley who really isn’t very clever at all.

  3. Refereeing decisions today, 10 mins in Wanyama gets kicked the linesman 1 yard away, …… throw in Rangers. Ball goes up the park, Victor still down, ball goes out for a throw in to Celtic, Mulgrew has to point out that Victor still down.

Murray tells Mulgrew to put iy out for a throw in.

35 mins in Elbows goes down in the box, Rangers still have the ball, Celtic steal send Sammi away on a one on one, Murray stops play.

Bartley had 5 bad fouls, spoken to 3 times, eventually booked.

Rangers had no threat today, Celtic played football and left them chasing shadows. Victor was immense, the back three gave Izzy and Mathews room to hurt them down both wings. Broony kicked and snapped at them at all the right times. Joe Ledley was… Joe Ledley. Sammi put in a shift as he has done since Christmas. Commons still not up to speed. Fraser Foster has one save to make and he did it with ease.

Thanks Frase, 3 -0 Mulgrew at 150/1 saved by yourself.

  4. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

What was wrong with the Celtic end in the first half though ? Hardly heard anything from the support there.

  5. Thank you Celtic

Excellent today every last one of them! there was not an under par performance out there today, special mention to glenn loovens (who I normally do not rate AT ALL) but he put elbows in his place today and snuffed him out, was not intimidated at all.

I thought Izzy was superb attacking down that left and was ‘almost’ as good as the last 3 nil against them at paradise last season. Big Vic makes it look so easy, Mulgrew IS the player of the year in SPL, broony was superb in hassling any hun who got near the ball and driving us on keeping up the tempo all day. Joe ledley as ever, does everything so well and simply allows others to play. Gary hooper worked his socks off today (something he has not done in too many games this season) and was very sharp, what a finish!!!. Kris commons for me was the outstanding player on the park, a step above with his touch, passing, winning the ball back when we lost it and what a finish!!!!

As for the faithfull!!! AS EVER the Greatest Fans in the world!!!!

    Hail Hail

I really enjoyed that today. I had a tenner on 3-0 at 14’s, but was actually disappointed we didn’t go for it after Hoop’s goal ! We really could have given them a doing.

Excellent performance from the team and the home support.

Great day to be a Tim!

  7. Just back from the game -absolute Celtic quality. The team were magnificent as were the support-loved the banners!.On the other hand I have to agree -the away support are as always reprehensible in their vocals.Won’t miss them one bit .

Thought they were all brilliant today but I have to say Broonies tackle at the end was the icing on the cake for me.Fed up with their elbows and late tackles?TAKE THAT!!!!

  9. Purring absolutely purring the young bhoys win 3-0 and this auld bhoy is £60 richer.

Any of you who know me don’t tell oor Mag(my better half)

  10. …………………..till July! – when we will be playing CLQs.

Took my 13 year old nephew to his first (and last?) OF game today. He loved it and said he’d never forget it.

Brilliant performance by the Celtic team and fans. The atmosphere was tremendous and the banners, songs and chants from our fans were so funny. The Green Brigade are a wonder to behold – they are Celtic’s heartbeat. I also loved the display of banners in the Celtic End at the start of the second half – Au Revoir, Arrivaderci, Buy, Bye, Cheerio etc. A truly great day.

Every Celtic player was a hero today. No one avoided tackles. Everybody had a great game. Fraser had little to do. The team grew slowly into the game. I thought Kris Commons and Scott Brown were immense. So many Celtic players showed off fancy, nimble footwork and dribbled their way past 3 or 4 RFC players. The passing was great and the goals were out of this world. Our two Welsh Bhoys were wonderful, Big Vic and Glen Loovens and Charlie too and isn’t it great to see Emilio slowly but surely getting back to his best. I’ve said on here before that Gary Hooper is a favourite of mine and I thought he gave 100% today. He relly tested that Rangers defence. Sammi kept up his great run of performances winning so many balls and generally causing them severe problems.

I’m a happy, happy bunny tonight and I’m going to spend some time reading back today’s posts.

Too happy about Celtic’s success to say anything negative about Thems or their situation.

    Hail! Hail!
