    To look at the Sevco team today, is to see a poor team unable to compete. They are well behind Hearts and will make the play-offs at best, they look unlikely to win them.

     

    Another season in the championship beckons.

     

     

    The fact that to survive they have to further cut their expenditure to live within their means, this will further effect the quality of on field product and this will effect season tickets sales. The downward spiral will continue.

     

     

    As well as living within their means, they need to generate surplus cash to pay back the Ashley loans and carry out Maintenance of their crumbling stadium. The fact that several income streams are already sold off means, that to generate any surplus to repay debts will rely on ticket sales only.

     

     

    Generous supporters will be put off by the Ashley controls on the board.

     

     

    The lack of scouting will affect their ability to unearth any “gems” who they can sell on for significant sums to balance the books.

     

     

    Their poor performance today,only highlights the divide between Celtic and them and I cannot see a way in which they can bridge this gap in the short term.

     

     

    They would be better starting again with a young Team and building up.

     

     

    They are really devoid of a believable plan

    So all those headlines in the smsm pinned up on the ole dressing room wall about some CFC staff past and present telling them they had no chance did not help the sevco motivation

    Morning Celts

     

     

    The best bit of yesterday was meeting old friends down the B’pool shammy, great day, my prediction was 2-0 HT and 3-0 FT, I think with a half decent pitch we’d have scored a few more but it only takes 1 goal to win a cup game so very happy.

     

    Shocking display from the ref, they kicked us up and down the park all day, no protection at all are they trying to kill football.
