  1. Do we have a Plan B for when the GB decide to rest their tonsils? Where’s the canned noise from last season . . .

  2. Looks like Juranovic or Ralston are not facing any competition for the right back position.

  3. Betis have played most of the football. Bain isn’t good enough to be Celtic number two keeper. Ajeti injured but in truth he’s nowhere near good enough and isn’t much of a miss. Hopefully Kyogo takes it easy in this second half, him picking up an injury is unthinkable.

Scales and Shaw doing OK. Soro has done ok but he’s once again walking a tightrope.

  4. I just hope kyogo gets through game unscathed.

Apart from that delighted with score so far.

    Keep updates coming CSC

  5. not a bad game – they have 2-3 quality players that I’d like in our team – esp midfield creativity. Shaw looks promising considering he’s not played much. I’d try urigide at center to see how he performs. Scales looks good too and plays with the head – has a good delivery too.

Abada not winning his 1-1 , soro not winning anything and looks to be trying too hard – McCarthy getting game time but needs better around him. finally , Bain was beaten 3-4 times with shots from 25yrs – strangely rooted to the spot for all of them – is he a keeper or a spectator!

  6. Urhoghide looks rusty /out of position ..

Montgomery trying hard , but to rushed ?

Bain punching when he should be catching

    Soro mad as …

    But apart from that ..😜

  7. These fringe players are nowhere good enough. We need a massive influx of players come January. Kyogo should not even be on the bench. Mad decision by Ange. Ajeti unfortunate but never a player. Bye bye in January if anyone will take him. Good goal by Welsh.

Why does Bain insist on taking 2 or 3 touches before clearing the ball? gives me the heeby jeebies.

2nd string doing ok but the gulf between them and first 11 is stark . Not overly worried about the result here , main concern is that Kyogo avoids any injuries .

  9. Superb performance from the fringe players.

Nick another goal before the La Liga quality takes hold, astonishing fearless team selection with the SPL the real prize.

Both back up strikers now injured, but bringing Kyogo on could be the ace.

    Team changes, philosophy doesn’t.

  10. Bitton playing well. Scales impressing again. Give him a run of games. Shaw decent. Montgomery not so good.

  11. I have been impressed enough by Ange to accept that he knows what he is doing in having brought on Kyogo. In spite of that, I would have felt better had the Man from Japan stayed in the Stand.

Soro is a good wee worker but I don`t think he is good enough for us. McCarthy, on the other hand, looks like he thinks he is too good to work hard.

    31003-where was the banter 🤷🏻‍♂️

Philbhoy had a nip at me, I had a nip back at him

    I’d call it banter……you obviously don’t

    Not a problem

Well done B team. I know it’s Betis B, but our team is BAD. To escape with a win would be brilliant.

Bain demonstrating again he’s a liability by almost gifting a goal right on half-time.

Soro again demonstrating he’s a classic Lawwell cheap dud. Should have his contract ripped up for that pathetic attempt at a pass to Kyogo.

Ajeti is just jinxed. Another hammy. What’s going on with our physio team?

    Abada poor. Again.

Welsh, Bitton and McCarthy taking the responsibility you’d want from genuine first team players.

Shaw trying hard, but not clear why Lawwell signed him.

Scales looks the part and Montgomery is a real prospect.

I’ve enjoyed watching Urhoghide. Big unit, great athlete and trying his heart out. Also good defending corners.

  14. Played really well for first 18 minutes then Betis mostly took over until the last five. Betis could have scored two or three but if Soro makes an easy pass, Kyogo only has keeper to beat. Wee Soro always looks off balance. Same for Urhoghide, who dives in a bit quick too often. Some decent play by us at times though. Very sorry to see Kyogo come on. Give him another twenty then put Johnston on? Can’t see it.

  15. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    More idiots on the pitch.

    And they’re getting younger.

    What possesses these folks?

  16. We are a Kyogo injury away from playing Mikey J up front against Sevco. Seen this movie before.

  17. Not too bad for a B team!!

Did I mention I watched the 2nd half of the dundee utd game with john hartson at an airport??

Great guy, easy to talk to and is very much a bhoy

Felt very priveledged to talk to him like I did

  18. Plucky summarises our outing so far IMO.

As well as losing Albi to a hammy, we have 2 wingers scared/unable to take defenders on the outside so we don’t stretch their backline – like Jota does. Maeda will fix that issue if he arrives.

Seems to me wingers who always hold and poass back only increase congestion in the midfield area.

Agree Urhogide looks positionally weak. Shaw has brawn but not overflowing with brain or mobility. HH
