    Just in from the game and settling down with a cuppa, highlights and, of course, the CQN read back.

     

     

    Strangely not too disappointed and quite enjoyed the experience.

    This Board’s mismanagement is the sole cause of the position of crisis we’re in. From a position of strength both financially and competitively we find ourselves in complete dissaray. A manager brought in at the wrong time, trying to play a system that the players available can’t carry out. Civil war and no respect with a large section of the fan base, As a guy who has tried to defend this board at times I’m afraid I’ve given up. I feel sorry for Nancy and his backroom team this idiotic board has brought them into the wrong movie at the wrong time

     

    Nancy has around 4 weeks to save his job, whatever happens Lawell and Nicolson have got to go, if not this club is in deep shxt. You cannot run a Professional Football Club and openly show dislike and disrespect for your core support whilst, massively mismanaging the club.

    A few positives for me on a poor night.

     

     

    Already the instructions are clear – looking to make a sideways or backward as the first option is no longer acceptable.

     

     

    As the players get to know the system, I’m looking forward to seeing us break lines more often, more quickly, and more effectively.

    Under Wilf there are less 5 yard passes , so we can see clearly those bhoys were their technique and passing is suspect. Clear from the game : Daizen can’t play centre forward and Benji doesn’t have the physical strength to take the ball to feet.

     

     

    All we can take out this game is a clean sheet , shake our heads at a missed penalty and chalked off goal. Seemed to me at the game that the midfield and forwards were bricking it , panicking in possession…. combination of a good team and new style just too much for us at the moment.

     

     

    Onwards and upwards to Sunday , I’d expect some changes for this game.

    B2B – on the telly – and if you mean a sideways or backward pass – that was all many of the players (from Hatate to Nygren, Yang to Tounekti) were/were able to do.

     

     

    Again, we remain Celtic supporters but we have to question changing away from MON and Shaun’s pragmatic approach to Wilf’s re-forming of the system and players playing unfamiliar roles within that.

     

     

    Compare the support’s hopeful optimism post-Bayern and Brendan to Saturday and tonight’s disarray.

    Let’s be honest.

     

     

    If we want a decent Celtic team, McGregor, Maeda and Iheanacho are the only two players we keep from that lot tonight. Hatate has left the building.

     

     

    The rest are utter duds!

     

     

    Nygren, Engels (we’ve all given up), Tournetki, Yang and the rest are not Celtic quality.

     

     

    That wank in charge of recruitment must also go.

     

     

    However, with that board, Nicholson, Lawwell etc in charge I believe we are fucked.

     

     

    WE have to put the pressure on.

     

     

    Even if that makes us nasty, bullies to them.

    what will yang or tounetki do next ?

    what will happen when KI holds the ball up and is then too slow to keep it ?

     

     

    and why was hatate taken off – hopefully to give hime some rest for sunday.

    but I thought Kelechi, Arne & Reo showed up

     

     

    Kieran did ok for 45 minutes despite getting zero help from Sebastian.

     

     

    Callum and Auston didn’t do much wrong but, equally, didn’t do too much.

     

     

    Nygren displayed a dreadful lack of character tonight.

     

     

    Jelly legged, fearful, Bambi on ice.

     

     

    Unacceptable.

     

     

    Evan Ferguson could perhaps make Scales feel better by taking Liam out of his pocket and buying him a beer.

    As for those fans who were booing the team?

     

     

    IMHO, absolutely disgraceful.

     

     

    They may be fans but they are not supporters.

     

     

    No doubt some are angry at other stuff.

     

     

    Understandable.

     

     

    Taking it out on the players is illogical and unacceptable in equal measure.

    Hope the Board enjoyed that embarrassment, it’s their own making, don’t blame WN he’s a pawn in this shitshow, he’s not without faults in his games.Ross Desmond there,and he was 100% right, the gap to European Football is ‘unbrigable’ as long as we have cowards in charge of this club. No ambition as they know to try and stay at the level, we reached last season, would cost money………hello…..that’s why we have the money in the bank,an absolute avoidable mess of our own making.
