Hello Bhoys from a delighted Celtic fane here in Éire.
Big three points tonight for the club and well done to Brendan and the team. Delighted for Griff and here’s hoping he can now get a sustained run in the starting XI following that goal. Fifth clean sheet in a row is superb going and Bhoyata and Benkovic were both very solid and powerful tonight. Mikey Johnston and Sinky added much needed impetus for us when they entered the fray. Roll on Killie away on Sunday.

We’ll done Celtic. Well done LG9. 5 clean sheets. Rock solid at the back. Benkovic looks class. Hard to keep beating a very decent team. Mikey J did well. We need to find goals and that includes finding a way to make Odsonne more effective. Pleased with the result.

The Norwegians knew Celts game inside out after playing us for the fifth time in recent months and made it very difficult. But a really great winner by Leigh.

well done Celtic, great result and fully deserved.
I see a few people saying it was hard to watch but I thought tonight we played well (not as well as we can but good enough to win)
just when the frustration almost got the better of the team we found a way past a very stubborn defence and scored an excellent goal.
French eddy 1st half & young mikey COULD well have made it much more comfortable
but when it works u gotta love a bit of late drama
Hail Hail

as i said before OE is not a penalty box centre forward , to me he is more effective facing the opposition goal and running towards them is not a target man with his back to the goal, simples.

When goals are hard to come by leaving an instictive goalscorer on the bench doesn’t make sense.
Pleased for LG. Edouarde is effective coming in from wide.
Edourad, will come good ,but Brendan Rodgers system,in my opinion has went stale, Scott Sinclair isn’t the player he was,I would like to see Christie, taking over from Sinclair, and yes Griffith’s is definitely the no 1 Striker, Nitcham and McGregor need rested.

Thought Boyata & Benkovic were superb, neither will be here long term but they can be huge for us over the next 3 months.
Eddie is OK but is not a lone striker, Griff is a natural goal scorer, just love the wee mhan.
Said before the game didn’t give a toss of how what or where as long as we won the game.
We are playing like a team that has lost it’s confidence, hopefully tonight’s win will be the catalyst to kick start our season.
We need to start a run of winning games, Killie won’t be easy but we simply must win there.

NavanBhoy: Fully agree. Rosenberg tried to nullify our threat and did well in that regard but we were the better team and we got there in the end.
Overall, we were more direct in our play and commitment won out in the end.

We need Billy Bremner.

Good win which can be built on and get the team motoring.
There’s a wee lesson for us all, maybe even a double treble winning manager ?
88 minutes of taking the easy option side or backways, when our outstanding left back was our main goal chance a punt into the box provided the key.
Sometimes if you become too one dimensional and a team of pros are set up to defend, goalscoring chances are few and far.

Really feel sorry for brendan looks under pressure, but Peter pickes up his bonus, and pumps the support.
Sunday is exactly the game to put Mulumbu in the team, Calmac needs a rest he’s been a shadow of himself for a while now. Him and Rogic together never works well in my view.
Griff I thought looked overweight recently and I thought it^’s quite possible BR had the hump with him but you can’t argue with his goals record.
Eddie needs to play his own position in behind to get the best out of him.
Defence looks pretty solid, though Benkovic looked very good tonight and a very smart header from DB for the goal as well.
Lots of work to do especially in the middle of the park for the team to start purring again.
BR has to find the right combo of middies to get us moving.
Rosenborg came for a draw and left with what they deserved..nish…
Our patience and the wee tweak paid off in the end but still I would say we’re below par for the players we have.
Bring on The Killie..

Sell those two French lads ASAP.
Hopefully the profit from N’Cham will cover the loss on Edouard.
After a particularly appalling game under Ronnie Dalia I remember someone calling McKay-Stevens, Armstrong, Forrest and McGregor ‘sparrow hearts’.
Never a truer word.
We are rid of two,but we’ve seen the best from a Rogers inspired Forrest and Armstrong. MJ did more in a cameo than Forrest has done since the season began.
Tom hasn’t kicked a ball since he signed anew deal. Not surprised. He signed up to a brave new world, which Peter Lawell and Brendan Rogers obliterated during the summer.
I’d be pissed too.

2 great headers for the goal, couldn’t pick a better scorer, Rogic, McGregor, poor again, maybe give Christie a run, Johnston done well,

Bottom line. Play the proven goal scorer. i.e. Griff. Young Edouard is just that a young player with a huge price tag which at this time is doing him nno favours. He will come good . Circumstances out with his control have put him in the situation as it is. Somebody please explain to me what is going on with corners. Not even a short option to change the angle. Beats me. Happy in Kos goodnight

Leigh was the difference.
Superb tactic from Brendan to hold him back to the end. LOL
Bouncing !
Let’s kick on now and smash the bigots and cheats !
Benkovic is a player, great pity he’s not ours ?
Sutton dug up bawbag for raising negative stat about no wining European opening games, stat put to bed ?
God knows what wrong with Eddie these days – looks like big loss of confidence.
Not sure johnston for Forrest was the right call either.
The young lad at 18 or whatever is very raw.
Still, nice to get a win without having to worry about away goals or any of that rubbish.
In case you missed it
