  1. Auldheid

With the Paul67 statement about our tanks parked on the Marble staircase

I think you are getting picture now that you will not get your resolution 12 to a resolution

Until those tanks are parked on Peters heated driveway

Your work had been great but you know now it’s a waste of time as peter L wants his cushy number at UEFA

He has lied to the fans and the shareholders and he gets away with again and again until

The fans get together and do something. Eg boycott Celtic shops , it’s not that we need the money. We have stacks of it and won’t spend it

  2. Auldheid.

You seems to be happy to go after the SFA,

Pay for solicitors to put a case together against SFA

But!!! You find out that peter lawwell was part of it After all, you seem unwillingly to go after the him?

    Why ?

  3. UEFA licence is an administration issue nothing to do with the Celtic board

(or even wee James Forrest :-)

  4. Auldheid

An excellent ( and disturbing ) read.

I feel we need a body of ST holders many thousands strong who are willing to act en masse to ram home to the Board that something must be done to clean up Scottish Football.

20,000 empty seats at specified games , apart from the visual , significant impact, would make many of the remaining 35,000 ask questions as well.

  5. GFTB. Indeed it’s the licence is nothing to do with Celtic board

But peter L deliberately avoiding an investigation as his hands are covered in it and he wants a cushy job at UEFA

Celtic is a club run for peter lawwell

  6. Philbhoy,

No idea why you are picking on Taylor.Every time the boy has played, not often due Lenny’s tinkering,he has been good.If Lenny thinks a stop gap LB,is a better option,Hayes, while playing poorly, who is to blame.

As for Boli,we know ,not a great defender, but like Wee Jerry, could be good in a 3_5_2.

  7. Sidney Tim

    I repeat – what tanks?

    Who are the tank commanders?

The only tanks we have are driven by shareholders because The Board are accountable to them.

There might be 5 or more Tigers in the squadron protecting the heated drive way but there are many many more Sherman’s pointing at them.

Those shareholders are not happy with the responses to Res12 at the AGM and are asking for clarity supported by a telling report that states UEFA licence 2011 granted as result of RFC deception and SFA failings.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1koD7VKr3O1Ed1qVIp6zc3kCIYVMfikt-/view

So apart from the separate issue of the Doncaster e mail, shareholders are demanding Res12 be brought to closure.

They are now aware of the Doncaster e mail and because they are shareholders are entitled to honest answers. That is a accountability and that is what has kept Res12 alive – accountability means having to answer questions honestly.

  8. ST 12.12pm

I am not disagreeing with you but the board are probably (my opinion not necessarily the right course of action) looking after the majority of Celtic fans not the few.. we are well read on here of the Res12 issue through Auldheid, Canalamar & BRTH but the wider Celtic support actually don’t care about it and in fact I would go as far too say want a team from Govan to face … rightly or wrongly I think that’s the way it is … and “our” board know this hence their inaction

  9. Auldheid. I would hope the fans like yourself would be a commander of the Sherman’s

And looks like Barca bhoy is one of commanders of the tigers ( wonder where Paul67 stands ?)

Peter lawwell has lied to Celtic fans for for years but he has a pr department that puts out spin

100% yes the fans should never be lied to

And info from Celtic star is peter L is trying to put a stain on you and saying you a a liar

If your waiting for Peter L doing the right thing , you will be waiting a long time

Only action will stir DD off the golf course

What action will be up to the resolution 12 side( Sherman’s)

Boycott the Celtic shops ? Something

You do nothing and nothing will happen

  10. Gftb-not sure it’s ‘actually don’t care about it’,although you could be right.l think maybe it’s more they don’t know about it.You would be surprised how many around me know nothing about it,or maybe you wouldn’t be.

I would buy that panini album and stickers … getting “top class” players to the Spl is pretty difficult … Dr Jo Venglos more or less said the same when getting Lubo signed … but he said if he could just get him to experience Celtic Park & the fans he knew he would love it… I think that’s why guys like Henrik, Lustig and many others love the club …. but getting them here is the hard part £2m, £3m or Lubo £300,000 & Henrik £650,000 but in these cases it was Dr Jo & Wim Jansen that we’re the major factors definitely not Celtic or Scottish football

    ———-

I agree that it can’t be easy to attract professional footballers to come and work throughout Scotland’s winter months; playing often pretty ordinary teams; who are allowed to tackle you as though it was the 80s by compliant officials.

And then, ironically, they head off on a brief holiday between seasons just when Scotland looks at its best (hun marches aside!)

  12. The Canman is vociferous, but unstintingly as fair as he is firm imho.

Auldheid is a diplomat, but like a dug with a bone when it comes to facts and justice.

Add to that BRTH and his comments on Res12…..

That’s a powerful spectrum of very different Tims, all of whom have integrity to the core.

    PL….5WA…. je accuse….

You hit the nail on the head . It all comes down to who has the real integrity . Whose character , honesty and selflessness do you trust?

  14. FB 12.41pm

Maybe “don’t care” isn’t the best term to use, the worrying thing for me is the SFA are still looking the other way regarding the team from Govan … my view is the majority of Celtic fans want to face a team from Ibrox our local boozers are ticket only for these fixtures there is a demand probably even more than pre-2012…

    Jamesgang

I think Summer football would be a success in Bonnie Scotland after the initial upheaval … schools off during the summer would maybe even entice my daughter to attend when the sun is shining instead of sitting Baltic in the rain and while paying good money to freeze your bahookie off :-)

  15. HS,

Really, wanting 20,000 empty seats when we are going for the 9 and an historic 10. ?

    Music to our enemies ears.

And we criticise some attending supporters for a wee bit of stick .

    Cheers and HH.

  16. What would be the final outcome of Res12.,if it were proven that the SFA,had colluded with the then Rangers to grant a licence.Nothing ,I would think.A total whitewash,I would think.A statement from the SFA,saying sorry, steps would be taken to avoid a recurrence of a genuine mistake, made at the time.We hope this puts this matter to bed.For the good of the game.Anyone think differently.?We know there will be no support from the rest of the SPFL,so what could be done?.Nothing,I would imagine.

GFTB is so right when he says many fans only have a passing interest, many, none at all,and only care about what happens on the field.9 and 10,being much more important to them.Have to say,I agree,as just who would be happy with a whitewash and official closure.

Of course if the agenda is to get rid of PL,which many driving Res 12,would obviously welcome as some sort of victory, then that’s a different matter altogether.

  17. Turkeybhoy

I have no personal agenda. Trying to objective, I think he’s v v v v handsomely paid in the sector, and oversees a team and business that dominate in Scotland, though not to the extent our resource advantages should deliver. He’s a low risk, low returns operator, no doubt at the behest of his boss.

But lying to shareholders on the alleged complicity of breathing life into der hun crosses a line of integrity for me. And I suspect many other shareholders/fans. While many others care far less I know.

    HH jg

  18. Turkeybhoy

I read during the week about you saying you don’t care about the board, likewise, never cared for any board and still don’t…. again I am more informed about the off field stuff through CQN and quite enjoy some of it but it doesn’t effect my feelings on the team, before CQN I wouldn’t even know about any of the AGM stuff … in fact maybe life was easier not knowing :-)

  19. dearie dearie , so the papers have us linked to another winger , have we no got enough that haven’t been given a chance , on and by the way has anyone from our coaching staff watched him at his training academy prior to purchase as that seems to be the way we select our team for the next match and not by what or how they perform on match days .

  20. Our priority should be 2 good full backs.

The ones we signed in the summer are not good enough.

Also another good striker that can have an immediate positive impact.

  21. For guys who were touting McKenna and Cosgrove, I hope they are watching this nonsense……

  22. glendalystonsils on

    TinyTim

Boli and Taylor seem like squad players rather than first picks . Elhamed has fitness questions and Jeremie might be better in a more offensive position . First team ready players are what Lenny wanted but early impressions are that Klimala doesn’t seem to fit that particular bill. He is presumably fit and match ready , so that one’s a bit puzzling. It will have to be a whirlwind of activity in what remains of the window.

  23. Glendalystonsils

I’m not optimistic about us recruiting what we need within the next few days.

if it were proven that the SFA,had colluded with the then Rangers to grant a licence.

Lol I know the above was in context, but I read that line and burst oot laughin.

Proven! It was their works team!!safeguarding

their brithers in knuckle, much the same way

as they oversaw their original club not sign a catholic.

Continuing to play Johnny Hayes (a winger) before Greg Taylor (a left back) is yet another one of the manager’s strange decisions. Why bring Dembele on with 10 minutes to go as well?

  26. Hi Bhoys,

Can someone tell me what has happened to Soro. After having watched him on youtube, he’s a player I was looking forward to seeing in the Hoops.

    HH

  27. and there is the problem with our signings , not first 11 quality but squad players that have to prove themselves for 3 or 4 weeks or months in some cases at Lennoxtown before they are deemed fit for purpose.

  28. The rags saying…mega rich Jermain defoe has decided to turn down offers from down south thus losing a whopping …3 million in wages…….. nuff to make a cat laugh !!!!!!!

  29. maybe the answer to out transfer dealings is that we include this in the contract

The probationary period also allows an employer to terminate an employee who is not doing well at their job or is otherwise deemed not suitable for a particular position or any position.

  30. Wee read back and you’d think being a Celtic fan is just shyte…

Don’t know why some folk stick with the source of their misery.

Or maybe, sadly, it’s not the source.

Hopefully as an antidote to those who find find little joy in following Celtic, may I recount he following tale.

After yesterday’s game, I attended the post match Vigil Mass at St Michael’s, Parkhead. As always, the majority of the congregation had also been at the game.

During Communion, the front half of the church was empty as everyone made their way to the altar…………save for one little boy of around seven.

All of a sudden he decided to raise his Celtic scarf aloft and gently move it from side to side, lost in his own little version of “Walk On ”

This beautifully rhythmic performance only ended when his father returned to his seat and had a gentle word in the little chap’s ear.

Now, not for one moment am I suggesting that adults should adopt this practice in church but just maybe there is a message in there for some.

This is what it means to be Celtic
