What we saw today was a collective failure from every member of the coaching team and nothing short of their complete removal is going to wash.

    Hot Smoked and James Gang – Michael Stewart and Alan Stubbs were both trying to be as diplomatic as possible but both said it was the end for Lenny. Stubbs said that it’s a results game and we all know how it is going to end.

     

    Stewart said he doesn’t like seeing anyone under this pressure but couldn’t see any way back as he can’t get a reaction from the players.

     

    They are Neil’s friends, they are paid by Celtic TV, they are not going to call for his head.

    The Board coup fanfared to all on their mailing list that they’d secured live coverage for all Season Ticket holders in the UK & Ireland looks much different when you’ve just been beaten by one of the worst teams in the SPFL – a team that haven’t won an SPFL game since 19th September.

    The place was shut because of Vivid but guy who owns it, let me come because I know the ropes and knew I wouldn’t go anywhere, except the fields and loch.

     

    That made it even more special than normal.

     

    I read your post about Christmas, it will be the same here,after my MILaw dying from Covid, too, earlier in the year.

     

    I still think about your tattoo and not telling your Dad, my friend.

    For the first time, in the summer, I had a family of Bullfinches in the garden.

     

     

    Four of them.

     

     

    Beautiful birds.

     

     

    They couldn’t have been very impressed as they’ve never been back since!

    Neil Lennon has been a great servant to the club, both as a player and manager for twenty years now.

     

     

    In my opinion he’s been badly let down by his players but nevertheless I doubt he can survive this result. I also agree that he needs to go now.

     

     

    He should be allowed to go with dignity, not hounded out by the eejits at Celtic Park breaking lockdown laws.

     

     

    Thanks for your service Neil but please take John Kennedy with you.

    Sevco reserves up 3-0 at HT. That’s their 18th goal in the last 3 and a half games. Plus they can score from free kicks. Maybe they practice?

     

     

    Listened to Neil Lennon with disbelief post game – “Maybe we could practice defending at corners.”

     

    WTF? What do they do at Lennoxtown?

    I’d like to pass a few comments,but the age thing has kept me off the blog lately,But i’m going to try and make a comment today. .

     

     

    1. The manager is not fit to the be Manager of Celtic.

     

    2. Yhe team are certainly not trying to win games at this moment in time, {I wonder why}.

     

    3. The lack of supporters is harming the players minds ,{Which is doubtful}.

     

    4.Petr Lawell isn’t a good Chief Executive Officer,{which i would very, very, much {Doubt}.

     

     

    I may be wrong, but my take on why we are so poor is Neil Lennon is not fit to be a Celtic Manager,I know that some of you will disagree but this is only my optnion, He left Celtic the first time around, was he sacked or did Peter Lawell say to him,or did PL say to NL before he left you’ll have to go, or you’ll be sacked, but i’d be surprised if a Manager who seemingly loved the Celtic would resign, but he was offered the option as I just said, and took The offer

    same happened when he was Manager of Hibs,although he was suspended first, Why was he suspended by Hibs.There must be a reason for that.

     

    I would like to know why PL employed him for the second time,or did he, or was he told by DD,& a few other shareholders that they wanted him back,just an opinion,I know PL is the CEO,but he hasn’t got the final say.

     

    Celtic are playing Crap at this moment in time and maybe Had a wee blether amoungst each other,and decided to not try and not win many games so that Manager would get the sack.That could be a reason.

     

    Or maybe the Board made the decision to lose the League Cup to cut down on the games the team has to play. these are my theories only.

     

     

    Lastly.

     

    Since this Manager was appointed second time around, I haven’t been to any games except

     

    one,the first game of last season just to see the flag getting hoisted aloft,I shed a few tears that day,

     

    I’ve been a Celtic supporter for 67 years,and still am ,but won’t return until a new manager is chosen.

    I’n my lifetime, today is third behind-black Sunday and the raith rovers cup final. Love Lenny and for all he has had to endure for us but it’s time to go son.

     

    Once the dust has settled you will still be regarded as Celtic great.

    The chants outside CP might be nasty, but similar chants would have been echoing around the stadium weeks ago if it had not been for Covid.

     

    And it wouldn’t have been from a couple of hundred malcontents.

     

    I doubt if Lenny would have survived the CL and Sevco results never mind the Sparta and Ross County ones.
