Chuffed for Legendary Lisbon Lion Luggy to unfurl the flag today….an honour well deserved for an unassuming man.
Celtic @ 1/33 to defend the title , so let’s get it wrapped up as soon as possible. They certainly were never that price when Luggy the Brush was sweeping for the Hoops.
Celtic will be judged in Europe against their peers this season….they will not be judged in a backwater domestic league where even I could set this squad up to win it.
Rony and Johnny….this is your time….Go prove you’ve got what it takes!!
Good Luck to young Tierney, there is nothing I like better but to see a young lad come up from the Youths. Not crazy about having both GMS & Wee James on together. Hope they prove me wrong.
I think today’s squad is final proof that Stokes has played his last game for the Hoops. I will be sorry to see him go but perhaps its the right time.. Obviously himself and Ronny don’t see eye to eye and in that scenario there is only one winner.
He is a Tim, he wore the Hoops and lived the dream, nobody can ever take that away from him.
Ambrose in the right back roll, wonder if the BHOYS Fisher and Janko will get a start

Everybody at the game enjoy. Jealous. Getting pics sent through from my brother and young nephew enjoying the day. That’s what it’s all about.
Good win today should set us up for wed.

TEENAGER Kieran Tierney will start Celtic’s first league game of the season against Ross County as Ronny Deila makes four changes to the team that lined up against FK Qarabag on Wednesday night.
The 18-year-old, who broke into the top team towards the end of last season, replaces the suspended Emilio Izaguirre at left-back, with Efe Ambrose coming in at right-back for Mikael Lustig.
Further forward, James Forrest is restored to the side at the expense of Nir Bitton, meaning Stefan Johansen drops back into a deeper midfield role alongside Scott Brown.
The inclusion of Leigh Griffiths as the lone striker is the final alteration for the Scottish champions as the suspended Nadir Ciftci drops out.
Prior to kick off, Celtic great John Clark will unfurl the league flag as the Hoops celebrate four-in-a-row.
And the Bhoys will be determined to mark the occasion with three points as they aim to start their quest for a fifth consecutive title in style.
Kick off in Paradise is 12.45pm, and there will be live updates of the match on the official Celtic Twitter account: @celticfc
