I can assure you that I’m not underestimating our 16/17 year old fans as Celtic supporters, what I’m saying is that THEY didn’t make that banner up, held it up yes, but didn’t make it up, that banner has been laying around for a while just waiting on a bad result and the right time to display it, and after the semi final against the zombies, those in charge decided yesterday was that time, the kids are being used again, they honestly should leave those kids alone, and let them support Celtic, the leaders of the GB are grown ups (supposedly ) and politically motivated Ultra’s, otherwise known as pain in the arse uni guys with to much time on there hands who should make a bigger effort paying back they’r uni loans IMO.
So that was the players’ response yesterday to the semi-final exit.
If Aberdeen had only realised how shite we actually are, they might not have thrown the towel in.

My friends in Celtic,
Hypothetically:
If PL pulls a Rabbit out of a hat and gets a top manager in place. A few marquee signings and the remaining existing players give 100% and realise their potential.
Our crowds go up as ” Rangers ” and others challenge and we get into the CL, followed by a productive run in the Europa.
Should PL then get accolades as well as a bonus ?
No I have not seen pigs flying but I have a dream.
I’m sure the loans are being paid back assuming the ex students are in employment and earning above a certain amount. Unless the system has changed, a percentage of your income was deducted when your salary reached a certain amount.
Is that still the system? I’m assuming it’s not voluntary?
There was an expiry period as well , which meant after X number of years the debt was written off, but not sure if it’s still the same system.

Irish Catholic immigrants integrated far more easily in England than they did in Scotland.
As for the number of Catholics in Liverpool, Harold Wilson, who was MP for Huyton, is supposed to have said that more Irish people had voted for him than for the Taoiseach.

It would help get that chip off your shoulder.
I’ve said before and I mean it. You are in many ways the best kind of Celtic supporter as its in your heart but surely even you are now scunnered with what’s happening?
I think Lawwell’s refusal to engage with supporters and self interest is what has prompted fans to roll out the banners. What else can they do?

This mindless savagery has got no place in any society, never mind European society.
What’s it going to be like in ten years time ffs?
Every European citizen should have the right to own a gun, for their own protection, at the very least.

I’ve said on here before, up until 3-4 years ago, PL was doing a grand job, delivering good results on and off the field.
I hope he ( assuming he’s staying) tries to revert to the strategy that was working.
He stated the demise of Sevco was costing us ( or likely to cost us) £10m per annum. I am assuming he will be making plans for the return of this money?
Personally I disagree with his numbers, but I’ll take him at his word, and hope that he is planning to strengthen the football side of things.

I can deal with defeats & set backs, we have been through bad times before, but we were united & defiant then, now we are splintered & bitter,
Fast forward a year.
PL has appointed David Moyes.
Moyes has been given £15-£20m
Celtic made the group stages of CL
CP is jumping
6 in a row is in the bag
Waiting list for season books
Huns humped every time we have crossed swords
Real Madrid players saying CP has best atmosphere in Europe
Turnover was £75m
KT is now worth £20m
Cmon PL.. Make it happen!!
Been a critic of the GB in the past, but cannot see the problem with their banners yesterday.
The players and management are not performing, and the club’s decline on and off the pitch is stark.
If this were Italy, I doubt PL would be able to leave his house…

I shall await the reverse being posted:
Moyes failed
Blew his budget
Ground half full
Europa league failure
£100 off season books
I’m buying into the former:-))

The scenario you paint is not unrealistic. A good manager, serious investment, and I believe we can be a force again.
The question is: will the board (ie, Dermot Desmond) sanction a deviation from the strategy of the last 4 years?
Ernesto possibly, which doesn’t mean it was easy.
