   I wont be surprised to witness: a red card for us/ a stonewall penalty denied/ and assaults all over the pitch.

   Even the best Celtic teams have gone down to”lesser opposition”. Our record suggests we should take care of them however and with Brendan at the helm who would suggest otherwise. The “ref” will no doubt try as best as he can to help them but that should be irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

   71 disaster.

    

    

   Was at that game with the wee guy that brought me up to support Celtic. Never knew about tragedy till we got back to the car, first thing my dad said on hearing what was going on was we better phone your mum, now this was made even harder because it was obviously pre mobile and we didn’t have a phone in the house, also I pointed out that it had happened in the rangers end and mum would know we were okay.

    

    

   Mum wont think like that son, so off we go on a hunt for a phone box to phone the Murphy family that lived 3 closes over from us and get the message across that we were okay, when we found one about 5 guys were waiting to do the same but eventually we got the message across that we were fine.

    

    

   Still for the life of me I cant figure out why there is a minutes silence this time round, do they do this every New Year????.

    

    

   Anyway rest in peace those who lost their lives that day.

    We will be facing sevco .without tom rogic.one of our most influential players (courtesy of an assualt from a former celt ) we will miss this lad . We will also have to take our chances , as well as sevco ,we have other obstacles in black to overcome .
