Setanta Oz commentator kept mentioning free-ins and free-outs instead of frre kicks and goal kicks. Maybe he was trying to make Jimmy McGuinness feel at home. Mind you, he was well briefed on every RC player who had ever scored against Celtic.

Real Valladolid moved to the new Estadio José Zorrilla in 1982. It was built for the World Cup.
Tonight, for the visit of FC Barcelona, for only the ninth time since the stadium opened, it says: Sold Out.
Good to see Hooper playing better in the SPL, and Forrest back playing and scoring.

What i actually said was i feared our cautious approach would not allow us to hammer anyone.
We started to attack the last 3rd in second half and got results.
My one dimensional comment was from an earlier post and in a different context.

Great day today at Paradis……… Had a chat with Hamiltontim, MALORBHOY, oldtim, Eldiagobhoy …….a really festive atmosphere all day………..gets into the car and SSB were majoring on the 2 Ross County chances……. Small-minded twats ……HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa …. They continue to hurt…….. Get used to it for the next 20 years at least……..
Just back from the game and enjoyed it. I did not think we were bad in the first half as there were a lot of balls put into the box and a lot of last ditch defending by Ross & Co. I thought Lassad and Kayal both found midfield space and we got to pass a few balls up the middle rather than always going side.
We got the goals in the second half but the end product was the main difference in both halfs.
Difficult to tell if we had a back 3 or a 4 today. At the risk of being critical, I’d say it looked like a back 4 but Izzy was too far advanced compared to Ambrose on the right.
I’ll reserve my main criticism, yet again, for the loud mouthed tantrumming weans in section 439 who were giving Neil Lennon the benefit of their combined ignorance by shouting “Sh*&^” and “&^%$holes” and other inputs of tactical wisdom when we were having hairy moments towards the end of the first half. This pair look so sheepish and strained when they politely applauded each goal in stark contrast to their animation when something goes wrong.
It really looked like Celtic were, by winning this match, depriving them of a happy weekend’s moaning and bitching.
Anyways, apart from those two 35- 40 year old weans, a very Merry Christmas to all Celtic fans who are free to enjoy our league leading position and our continued participation in all cups.
P.S.- 2 weeks running now we have been denied a blatant hand ball penalty.
P.P.S. Celticrollercoaster’s daughter is a more talented footballer than her da.

Just in weather does not seem as bad when we bang the goals in :))
Good to see JF back, Gary getting up to full speed his movement and running were a joy and Efe just strolls through games NOT forgetting FF who is top drawer whenever called upon.
So all in all a very very good day at the office :))
I laughed and pointed at them but they are about 10 rows behind me and seem to like being the centre of attention. They look like a pair of inadequates who depend on Celtic to give them something they lack.
However, their shouted opinions on Neil Lennon’s abiity as a manager are worth some disapproval.
As a lover, not a fighter, I will continue to laugh like a drain at how wrong they are.

Was that the Tony Adams testimonial? If so, I was at that match too. Great game where we took the lead but it ended 1-1.
Back home sharpish due to good parking by EuroChamps67, and his fast exit.
Non stop freezin rain didn’t dampen Celtic’s performance and at long last we thumped an SPL side at Celtic Park.
We started the first half well, but Ross County dug in just the same as every previous visiting SPL team, and were culpable of stopping Celtic at the cost of non cautioned continual fouls, but Celtic always looked likely to score.
County didn’t have time to set the shutters up before Brown slipped into the inside right channel from the right wing, to shoot home with a well taken drive. From then on it was wide open at the Celtic End, and a matter of how many, as County tired under relentless sweeping forward from Celtic, on the left and right.
A fine cross, a good Hooper header, a delay for the obligatory offside flag that didn’t arrive and Celtic were two up. Hooper knocked in another, and there was another ‘paranoid pause’ for a whistle that didn’t sound before the Celtic fans accepted the buoys were 3-0.
Ambrose, Wilson, Mulgrew all immaculate, and Wanyama was immense in midfield before wee James Forrest ended the scoring with a cheeky goal assisted by a slight deflection and with County waiting for him to pass, to a team mate.
Hooper rattled the bar late on via young John Heron’s debut sclaff, and the Celtic throng went out into the downpour, happy, cheery and ready for Christmas.

regulars and season book holders.
We have some strange ones among us.
There are some who phone in to Clyde to bad mouth our club.
There are some who write to the Record to do the same. (some of them want us to ban the paper from CP while they subsidise it)
There are some who were calling our manager, players and supportive fans complacent a short few weeks back.
And there are a few who are missing Rangers, it seems too.
i dont think anthony stokes is for celtic much longer, west brit english and shortbread see their chance to dictate our team.
What’s going on, I’m back from the game before the match summary!
Anyway enjoyed that game played well for first 20 mins of the first half then stepped up a gear in the second.
Time for a drink :-)
