  1. Ach I telt ye’s Zadok would be playing at 21.38. Ye of little faith!

    Lenny’s comments were bizarre!

  2. My best mate has always been a newcastle fan with a massive soft spot for celtic iv been naggin him for years to follow us full time.

Lately he has become disillusioned with the hype of the english premiership and the antics of mike ashley and newcastle fans in general

He always claimed the joy he got watchin celtic surpassed anythin he experienced while watchin newcastle

At the beginnin of the season he decided hed had enough and wanted to ‘follow celtic full time’

After tonights game he turns to me and says ‘this is why i love celtic…’

    Hes in

    B-)

  3. I love being a TIM, That was a grudge match and that’s why Bronnie was being his usual self and I love it, just seen Samis interview, He is now a Legend, We are a football club ans what a football clube we are Hail hail

  4. Was going to call out all the petulant, foot-stomping Tins who were out in force after the defeat two weeks ago, but what good would that serve?

Nights like tonight are what it’s all about and we are all in it together whatever our views.

    Forza Celtic!

Ps. When did mineshafters become moonhowlers? Anyroad, I love you all equally..

  5. Not the classiest or silkiest performance I’ve ever seen.

    But it had EVERYTHING else.

That was one of the bravest, gutsiest, ballsiest, fightingest Celtic performances ever .

That was the spirit of Jimmy Mallan, Sean Fallon, John Cushley, John McNamee, John Kurila,…. & all the other ‘through brick walls’ if need be, type of Celtic battlers of long gone by.

I am not saying that there was any lack of skill. There was NOT.

But it was sheer Celtic courage that forced tonight’s result to happen.

    SHEER WILL.

God Bless every single one of Neil Lennon’s too often maligned HEROES.

  6. Greenwells Glory on

    Hi Ghuys, Salve salve;-

Greenwells reporting in for an extra large slice of humble pie and loving it.

Congratulations to the bhoys I would love it if Lenny could show he is capable of learning from his mistakes and make me eat my words. Am especially pleased for all the CQN’rs.

    Greenwells.

Verba volant, scripta manent. PS the fishing was awful today

  7. Hi guys, just in from a a brilliant night. Can I ask celtic40me @2234 wtf does “put your weapons down” to Celtic Supporters? We as true Celtic Supporters can do without remarks like that. Born and bread in Scotland, like it or lump it. Remarks like that on a Phenomenal night, piss me right off.

Was going to call out all the petulant, foot-stomping Tins who were out in force after the defeat two weeks ago, but what good would that serve?

I know, it was only a week ago :-P

  10. Charlie Nic ,Fraser Foster, for a big guy, useless at cross balls,i agree , if Benfica want him ,let him go there. A S A P.

Same with my friend, a Sheffield United supporter, text me today saying the first season ever he’s not bought a blades top…

Got the hoops instead he said.

    More than just a club

  12. So that’s 4 times out of 5 we’ve came back from a 0-2 away leg defeat to win the home leg and qualify. And I’ve been to 3 of them. Tonight every bit as good as Sporting & Cologne.

  13. Celtic 3 SK 0:

Trailing 2-0 – how to score and when to score – 1st half injury time – straight after half-time and right at the death = result!

No point in picking out positives/ weaknesses – tonight’s result was all that mattered.

Everyone should enjoy the result and being in the CL draw (proper) tomorrow – why castigate pre-match reservations or ‘live’ comments by anxious posters (Celtic Fans)?

Everyone sees it/ hears it/ feels it/ interprets it differently during a pulsating match – opinions on players’ contributions are expressed in the heat of the moment and more often (than not) from the heart.

Doubt any Tim; at the Match, watching on TV, listening on Radio or following on the Blog wanted anything less than a Celtic victory.

Enjoy the result – revel in it rather than ‘bitch’ at another poster’s; fears, misgivings as a ‘season defining’ game unfolded. Do a Blog ‘Huddle’ and dissect the performance tomorrow.

Me – I’m absolutely delighted with the Team effort and result and I’m off to have a much needed lie-down and dream about the next 6 CL Group Games!

    H!H!

  14. Delaneys Dunky on

Had a Rooney or a Gascoigne made the run that Tony Stokes made for our winner. Would the press reaction have been different? Wonderful work Tony!

  15. garygillespieshamstring on

Like everyone else well done Neil Lennon and the team.

That was one of the best games ever.

Efe and Mik played great , one taking the striker and other covering.

Full backs first class ESP young Adams , sign him up.

Brownie and Joe great breaking up play , recycling left and right and making forward runs .

Sammi and young James – sammi was up for it absoloutley great , James , didn’t have a great first half , came into it , got involved , was fearless , dangerous on the ball and scored the winner well done sir.
