  1. Unfortunately after testing positive on Wednesday my dad passed away during the night in his own bed and I hope in peace.Bernard was my dad.💚

  2. Last week, we let a two goal lead slipi Europe; this week, Sevco let a two goal lead slip in Europe .Should be quite easy for the MSSM to come up with similar reports on the two games…..even though ours was against eleven men.

    SAINT STIVS.

I’m old enough to remember. I think the Huns in the picture are Caldow, Young, Baird and Shearer. Don’t recognize the keeper and I can’t make out the other Celt in picture.

*In 1954 I was still living in a single end in Alexandria and hadn’t yet made my Fist Holy Communion so have no memory of this game.

The captions correct a 1-0 win for the leather belts at New Year and Neilly scored but according tae ma da that was a rarity at the time, no not a win but one at that time of the year.

The photies wrang though as both hun thugs shearer and baird didnae join them until a year later, big corky’s no in it and the goalie as far as I can recall is no seven past niven as he had wee sleekit slanty eyes. The other hun player could be willie telfer but they did go through a lot of centre halfs, including corky, tryin tae replace sine died woodburn.

Ha ha. Wonder if we’ll read ‘Steven Gerrard’s Rangers blow two goal lead’ headlines😂

Now contrast Rob Mclean’s commentary with this guy who’s about to cover our game….there will be snide comments all over the place……..and Celtic pay this guy to commentate on our domestic home games.
