My son phoned me after the cup final in May 2019 to tell me NL had been appointed permanently . He said it won’t end well.
How right he was .
Some on here aren’t in the slightest bit interested in BRs current ability, btw. If you’d read my original post I wasnt talking about his overall ability at Celtic either, was just pointing out what was a memorable pumping for me.

With no fans at stadia these guys can get away with lackadaisical performances ?
Just watched Neil’s Post match interview. I’m sorry, but he is delusional. Why didn’t he make changes at halftime? Why did he wait until we were 2 down before bringing on Ajeti and Ntcham? Why bring on the latter anyway? Why did we not play Soro and Turnbull to instil more energy? Sparta fielded 17 year old players and simply ran all over us. They were stronger, faster and fitter, and that is simply inexcusable.
We are simply not going to win the 10 with a defence with 3 out of 4 weak links, compounded by a midfield without the energy, stamina, speed or tackling ability to help them out or back up our usually lone forward. It is screamingly obvious. We are leaking goals like confetti, and are as vulnerable as wet tissue paper every time someone runs at us at speed, or simply takes a set piece.
Something radical has to be done, or we will be 12 points back by the international break. Has someone told DD the result yet? More importantly, does he care a fig?
Sutton was scathing of Griffiths tonight, in a game he scored. Yet NL has allowed that situation to run for 18 months, he allows the bar to be lowered for what is considered acceptable.
No point hanging Elyounoussi out to dry for using his mobile, he thinks it is acceptable based on what he sees at Lennoxtown every day. When Deila arrived at Celtic, taking over from NL, he pulled up the players on fitness. Commons etc didn’t like it but he was right, NL hasn’t learned the lesson
We are under resourced and lack skill on the coaching side. 2 plus GK to manage a first team of circa 3O players. NL isn’t a hands on Manager, that in itself isn’t a problem but you need a top class team to keep the players motivated.
We had Lenny, Kennedy and Duff last season and did ok. Strachan Jnr is the difference this time. Is that the issue maybe?

We didn’t lose to Red Imps. It was a two legged tie.

NFL quoted Trump last week.
You make the beds, you do the dishes, and six months later you have to start all over again.
If we were visiting Ibrox on Sunday we’d be annihilated. We’ve a limited amount of time to turn this around. Neil can’t do it – we’re in the fourth month of the season and we just got beat 1-4 by an average side missing 7 first team players. It could have been 1-6 or 1-7.
Is Lawwell so arrogant that he’d rather lose the ten than admit he was wrong ?
MON or G S they have had there day ,I know one thing things at Celtic need to change ASAP,I think a big problem at Celtic is the Directors some are well past it ,others like Willie Haughey and Michael McDonald etc who really know how our football team should be playing ,So Bhoys step up buy out Dermot Desmond and others ,take back the club to were it belongs.
