    Ive said it many times McGregor is not a holding defensive midfield player he cant tackle he is a 10 but we have Rogic playing there so we play two 10s one out of position in a crucial position, they are playing like the huns but are better.

    Brown must come off. McGregor is burnt out playing in midfield himself with a has been captain and Rogic who doesn’t try a leg. This is an utter shambles. Brown remains me of Gary Neville at the end, Neville retired mid season because he knew he was done. This cant go on.

    Bain has had more touches than anyone.

    We have free kicks in their half and end we end up passing it back to Bain😂

     

     

    Constantly passing across the back 😂

     

     

    Get into opposition box and try and pass the ball not shooting😂

     

     

    I am done with angry and frustration its embarrassing and laughable that we make the same mistakes constantly 😂😂😂

     

     

    I think we can score here and possibly get something from this but we have to get our finger oot.

    We don’t stop cross balls into the box, and we have a midfield that chases the ball and arrives late. No real structure to our defending. We haven’t enough pace, our passes don’t ping, take an age to get to the man

    if we are going to consistently defend as shoit as this – we’d be as well as playing with 2-3 up front to at least out score them.

     

     

    typical Lennon – too cautious against mediocre teams. setting up a team with no spine and no fire power.

    I’ll tell you exactly what is wrong, we do not protect our defence from midfield.

     

     

    I was pondering why Duffy us always coming out wide to defend. It is because he has to. Christie is not doubling up with JF when we lose possession. They break quickly, we don’t have people back quick enough.

     

     

    Apart from that we just aren’t playing with any shape in or out of possession.

     

     

    I’m usually glass half full but that was the worst I’ve seen this season. Honestly it is time to play the players that want to play. Get moi off, griff up front with eddie, El hamed on for Christie, go 3-5-2

     

     

    Tell Brown to sit.

     

     

    And the entire team needs to play with some humility and honest endeavour. The rest follows.

     

     

    Or just chuck it. I’m on the verge of being done with Europe this season.

    If you are fortunate enough to be watching this on Virgin 2, you will have heard the best assesment of the Celtics problems on the pitch from Gerry Armstrong. He is nailing it as it happens.

     

    17 passes across and back , for what ?? What is the objective ?

     

    A free kick ten yards outside their box and we end up with a backpass to the keeper. Edouard coverplaying the ball, Moi overplaying the ball.

     

    First goal, Bitton loses his man for the flick on. Second goal McGregor ballwatching.

    They are running harder and passing better than us. Only 3 or 4 of ours are making the required drive- Frimpong Christie & Laxalt

     

    The others need to show up- the Czechs are not going to retreat unless we force it.

     

    I am fairly level headed but they could take 4 or 5 off us if we cannot force them back

    Just about the worst 45 minutes of football I have ever witnessed by a Celtic team. The game is littered by sloppy individual mistakes. Frimpong and Christie without any support whatsover down the right side. All the players need to up their games especially McGregor who has been anonymous throughout.

    The most unorganized shambolic performance I’ve seen in many a long time.Can’t pass,can’t defend and can’t understand they’re up against nothing other than a hard press. Played straight into their plans and rushed the entire half. Time for some serious talking in the dressing room. Sort it out Neil

    Another Tactical lesson being issued by a European coach to Lenny

     

    Our team is so easily to get at, with gaps and lack of structure or shape, easily exploited by coaches that look at us.

     

    Yes Laxalt and Frimpong decent attacking full backs, but my goodness who covers the huge gaps they leave behind, not the 2 centre Halfs that are then pulled all over the place, leaving even bigger holes in the team.

     

     

    Sorry, not enjoying these tactical lessons, with the squad we have

     

    Incidentally Edouard cannot beat a 3 or 4 man defence on his own, as he continually tries, no one up beside him to often as well

    biton should never have let him turn and have that amount of space to turn – basic defending and they have a corner at best

    The most disappointing thing is the false hope that a couple of decent performances have given us . If we were playing the huns tonight they would probably also be 2 up .

    We’re out lads, we’re not scoring 3 and we’re not keeping them out in the second half.

     

     

    I’m dreading Sunday. I just pray we can get 3 points and sack Lennon.

     

     

    Get a new gaffer in over the international break.

     

     

    We can’t defend this level of football in November. It’s the worst Celtic side I remember watching in a very long time.

    Our midfield is too slow, has no stamina, does not protect the defence, or support the isolated forward. This reserve team is faster, fitter and stronger than us, which is inexcusable. We have 4 midfield players, and 3 of them have already shot their bolt.

    I’m glad I don’t pay to watch this shite. How long are people going to keep supporting a set up which is clearly not fit for purpose?

     

    Drastic change needed at all levels, and despite all the tribulations he has faced in the name of the club, it is now beyond doubt that Neil Lennon is now a major hindrance to Celtic going forward.

     

     

    Thank you for your service Mr Lennon, but it is now time to go.
