    Well done tonight. Great result for such a young and inexperienced playing squad and management team.

     

     

    Very long night, and not easy viewing, missed big Vic’s presence very much.

     

     

    An amazing achievement when you look at the quality of some of the teams who did not qualify for the champions league, and then the teams who did not qualify for the last 16.

     

     

    Punching above our weight? Probably, but now we have got a few months to re-group, maybe add a wee bit of genuine quality in the transfer window as well.

     

     

    And also in the meantime push on domestically, of which I have no doubt.

     

     

    All in all things are shaping up nicely.

    I simply will not try and articulate this achievment. It is simply that huge.

     

     

    Quite a stuffy game with good passages is my view of it..with spartak and emineke pulling us all over the shop in the first half..we got it together.

     

     

    if i must single one man out it is sammy…an extremely mature performance from him.kept the heid, all night….he won us the penalty aswell…(and a stonewaller at that!! I wont have anyone say different!) :)

     

     

     

    Anyways bravo.great times to be a tim.

    Izzy, I normally try to be polite on this board but your cretinous remark about me using a charity to ingratiate myself is just sickening and way below the level of poster you normally get on here, it says far more about you than it does me. As for why I came on tonight rather than in the past 6 month? six month ago Celtic lifted the title, I came on to congratulate, tonight you reached the last 16 and I came on to congratulate.

     

    I don’t think this is the right night for us to have a argument as folk on here are hyper and celebrating so if you want to continue discussing or even if you feel you want to just have childish digs I suggest you leave it until tomorrow or later when I will be happy to answer any points you make.

    2) Ed is a good guy. Passionate about the Game. Honest in his appreciation of it.

     

     

    Now, about Kris Commons tonight. Penalty technique apart, that was his most infuential game for Celtic. Everything he did with the ball was significant. Great performance. Champions League standard. Bunnet doffed Kris.

    Is it just me or does Efe Ambrose seem a bit dodgy at the back, or anywhere else for that matter.

     

     

    Thought Lustig, Commons, Sammy and Broony were immense tonight.

     

     

    Hooper ran his legs off and a great finish from him. -BULLET-

     

     

    Izzy is a shadow of the player he was, here’s hoping he get back to top form. Is Kayal fully fit? Didn’t look it tonight.
