GIORGOS GIAKOUMAKIS scored his first Celtic goal following his £2.5million summer arrival from Dutch club VVV-Venlo against St Johnstone at Parkhead on October 23 2021.
The Greek hitman steered in a right-wing pass from Anthony Ralston to edge the Hoops towards a 2-0 win with Josip Juranovic making sure with a sweet effort from the penalty spot to seal the points.
Amazingly, that was Giakoumakis’ only strike for the Hoops in the first half of the campaign with his next goal coming against Alloa in the 2-1 Scottish Cup victory on January 22.
