Well there is the proof we need our fringe players aren’t up to it .
O Riley,Calmac,Kyogo,Maeda,Abada,are they fringe players?None of them played well.Very poor.

Didn’t see the game but heard on Shortbread.
Our second tier players are nowhere near good enough.
No one from the bench seemed to make any difference.
Still top of the league. Only comfort from today.
After last weeks debacle this is even worse.
Ralston and Bernabei, not good enough for panel, let alone a place on the team.

I don’t think so. Knowing we need a goal to win, I didn’t see ANY player pick up the cudgel or take any kind of responsibility.

BR has to take some of the blame of the blame.Kyogo,he called an Elite striker,then wants him to drop back.Harry Kane,he ain’t.So many of our goals are scored by Kyogo from a couple of yards.So many times,he just was not there.Caught in between.
He has to now see,Maeda,Turnbull,just not good enough.Maeda should only be used of the bench for Kyogo.Never a winger.Turnbull,too slow.

Scales , Bernabei, Forrest and Haksabanovic are not players who are going to drive us on to a victory when we really need one. Almost half of the outfield players at the finish nowhere near the level we need.

Rogers has changed style and players’ roles. Just look at Kyogo today.
The most dangerous and successful striker in the league, by a country mile, has had his tool box

I’d also be confident taking that squad into that game.
Next game, I’d drop the non triers, the lot of them, and have to field a whole new team
10IAR season vibes. Unlike many on here, I don’t think it’s purely a personnel problem. Does anyone really believe the team we put out shouldn’t be good enough to beat St Johnstone at home?

I think the players were a bit scared of Ange. Rodgers not so much.
I’m not saying Rodgers isn’t the best guy we could have gotten but I do worry some of the fire might have gone out of him.
Not clicking yet is it.
Squad stretched to the limit and it shows at times.
I watched with no sound. We should have won but when Matt hit it straight at the keeper from 4 yards out early second half it started to have Livingstone at home two years ago about this time vibes to it.
A tough 7 days and another week of naval gazing, moaning, fretting, nail biting, monitoring the transfer window and the physio room awaits.
Only pluses for me today was AJ being back and Yang until tiredness kicked in and messed up his decision making.
I’ll make no judgement on the CBs as they weren’t tested really. Other than to say I’m more concerned about us going forward than defending just now.
After his promising show against Ross County, DT has not convinced anyone that he’s a first pick.
Ironically we might be better suited to the challenge of mordor next week where they will have to show at least some ambition and there will be some space for runners like Maeda and Abada.
Today was a game we needed Oh or a ready made CF to either replace or assist Kyogo.
By the end of the week I hope we’ve cleared a few out to make room for a player or two to spark us into life. There’s just a wee bit of something missing belief wise and that needs altered pretty sharpish.
Big Lager Johnston Hart were our best, the rest were rubbish including o riley who missed 4 , there appears to be no game plan none, Kyogo as a false 9 ive heard Rodgers talking about playing this way before, we need a real 9 get him playing on the shoulder of the centre half, the bench isnt good enough but some who started today arent either and have run out of chances .

Could we have had any less variation of a slow build up, could we have had less penetration? We now have a trend – last week on a crap surface with poor officiating- this week – all on us.

Not a surprise as the midfield is very slow and one paced.
We knew we had to recruit quality and with us having 60 million in last accounts in the bank we had the money to recruit better in midfield to help us be better and compete, any opinions like that though were shouted down by the 3 stooges from here though

Yes that has been noticeable _ a new watered down version.

Even I can’t take any positives from that, CalMac needs a break, he won’t get it next week but the Bhoy is running on empty.
He owes us nothing but we owe him a rest.
The only positive I suppose is that surely the Board must splash the cash this week.
The League wasn’t won or lost today but right now we are in big trouble.
If I was Brendan, I’d sit the lot of them down and ask them why they weren’t applying themselves the way they did last season.

Looking back at the Hart save and ignoring the 75% possession, we kinda’ got away with a point today, could’ve lost all three.
Need a rocket up us for the hun game, or things will be bad.
19 corners, st johnstone1 and they nearly scored from theirs. No shape to our team. Teams sit back and let our two center half’s bring the ball forward or pass . Yes the game changes if we score one of those early chances but we didn’t. When you look at the bench you think who is going to score. We have one, think about it, one true center forward. I know we have injuries, but the Huns brought in multiple strikers, and we have one who is out for 3 months. Big week ahead of us Bhoys.
Don’t fight amongst ourselves.
The bold Brendan has worked a miracle, he managed to play a style that nullifies the country’s top striker.
Unfortunately he plays for us.

2 games without a goal against Killie and S J suggests our problems run a bit deeper than not having a Jota replacement in yet. Our most dangerous player was on the left wing.
We would not have gone 2 games without a goal last season with Jota and Mooy out.
Promising signs in the first half, and MOR should have scored twice, but you could see that result coming at half time
I’m confident that BR had the ability to turn this group around, quickly. 800 games as a manager means nothings new to him

Agree re Kyogo
If he drops back to collect, he hasn’t anyone ahead to play off. His only option is to pass back or out wide.
