  1. Terrible tactical performance. We need to watch out about skooshing the league. Without Broonie, midfield not at the races.

  2. i'vehadtochangemyname on

damp squib – a bit of a come down from thursday night : some very interesting decisions by the ‘ref’

    ROBINBHOY

Canny do much whe The Levellers are in charge.

    But,frankly,CORKCELT called it.

Thursday is the big one,but we need to pay more attention to the home front.

  4. we are starting to make this into a title race our home form has been dreadful. Too many chances today it is time to start winning. Next week its the dandies away.No one seems to gamble the few times we hit the bye line I would like to see us get on the end of these crosses for a tap in.

  5. Today a perfect example on how a Mib can influence a game.though we were poor. lead at top up from 8 to 9 is only bright spot

  6. that was awful. ref was terrible and BR made far too many changes when a few tweaks would have done until the match was secure. bad management and no excuses of euros hangover

  7. Ref farcical. He wasn’t the only one not performing today though.

If Hendry is the answer I don’t know what the question was.

It’s quite clear the fringe players aren’t up to it.

Absolutely raging with Rodgers for the first time since he got here. The SPFL is rotten,, but he’s now putting teams out against Kilmarnock & St Johnstone that not only fail to score, they fail to look like scoring. Yes Beaton was unbelievable in his cheating, as were St Johnstone, but we gave them the opportunity completely unnecessarily. Gamboa is crap. Should never be near the team. KT created more threat in 10 mins that Calvin Miller would have done in a year. Deliberately weakened the team. He’s encouraging the Huns when he doesn’t need to and he better hope we don’t get humped at Ibrox because on current form that’s looking likely. Ronny Deila would have blushed at that insipid rubbish today. Didn’t have to be like that, but Brendan in danger of looking complacent. Garbage.

  9. Brendan deserves praise for Zenit – but criticism for today.

Far, far, too complacent a team selection. We are only 9 points clear. We still have to visit lots of tough grounds. Refs will be up for it, as will our opponents.

Three points today and we could be fairly confident. One point means this is a race again.

How can you play eleven players who have never played together before and expect them to play as a team ? we were good on Thursday but terrible on Sunday. If you think we can get through to the next round of the Europa league you are a total dreamer. Brendan tinkers with the team far to much and is no super manager well done to the Saints your point was well deserved. H.H.

  11. Gerrybhoy I would add Ntcham to Brown I have felt for a while we struggle to lift ourselves for SPL games time to start.

  12. Anyone seeing the lone up thinking it would be easy doesn’t know much about professional football in Scotland.

St Johnstone, apart from 20 mins in first half, were always on the defensive and played spoiler tactics that had referee booked players as he should would have seen then finish with 10 men at best.

Beaton set the tone early doors when he failed to book McLean and gave St J licence to foul.

Not enjoyable at all but given the number of changes and refereeing not surprising we struggled.

  13. Got to be foreign referees for me, there’s a conveyor belt of these biased anti celtic mibs. The look of bewilderment on Charly Musondas face when blatant fouls weren’t given, spoke volumes.

Whit? Well done St J, they are bunch of dirty cheating bassas.

  15. Can you imagine the stamping of the feet had Brendan NOT made wholesale changes and a couple of the players were out for weeks due to the assaults on them…….yous can’t have it all ways bhoys.

making it a title challenge ? 9pts clear, no chickens counted but am afraid Thursday night is far more important than today

Especially since our nearest challengers lost 3 goals to relegation threatened Hamilton

    Roll on Saint Petersburg

  17. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

Ffs,we complain that players need a rest, shout out for rotation and the youngsters to get a chance.

I’m not too happy with the result, nor from what I’ve heard about the performance. But we can’t have it both ways.

  18. For me the League is the number one competition, fine if it’s totally in the bag you can experiment.

However we are not there yet & almost surrender 2 points to keep players fresh for next Thursday was a questionable tactic.

I don’t really blame the players on the pitch, with a back 4 of Gamboa, Hendry, Ajer & Miller, they did OK just to keep a clean sheet.

Must say I feel annoyed & cheated, both by the Ref & the team selection.

  19. Joe Filippis Haircut on

THE EXILED TIM There used to be a saying which said never change a winning team and there was another one saying allways play your best team somone ought to tell Rodgers about them. H.H.

We extended our lead today in the league and I agree that’s our bread n butter but sometimes you need to prioritise

Even better when we extend our lead :-)

  21. ffs stop blaming the ref, mr mcgrory ,mr stein, mr oneil, mr lennon ,had to run through it and they did point is we are piss poor would lenny have the defence in the formation asis, no chance we need to take stock, the sooner the better.hh.

  22. We need to win the league. That’s the priority. Today’s team selection was never going to win that game, sorry but you could see how this one would go – especially with Beaton as ref.

I worry that everyone is far too complacent. Sevco aren’t great, but they’re better than under Brother Pedro. Hibs, Dons, Hearts, and Killie are all decent opponents, none of whom we can take for granted.

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

That Europa League is a distraction we could well do without now.

Seville probably cost us a league title, same as Manchester ultimately cost the dead club.

Trying to juggle that competition along with the league and cup is going to be difficult.

In saying that we have made things difficult for ourselves due to poor league performances.

We just have to trust the manager to get it right.

We should be fine though I reckon.

    HH.

Super score board is on (cause the Huns were playing :-)

First caller …. unhappy Celtic fan I paraphrase “today wasn’t good enough, Thursday isn’t important” entitied or Hun :-)

  25. Increased our lead – we will beat the sheep next week and dinamo govan at the crumbledome. MOM – Beaton
