GARY67 were you satisfied with our performance.hh.
No, as I said everything was too slow and we were taking too many touches. That’s what happens when you make 7 changes, that’s what’s happened (with one or two exceptions) all season when we’ve made too many changes.
Was satisfied with some individual performances, Ajer, Hendry and Kouassi in particular.

You can argue whether the referee is a cheat or just plain bad. When Beaton refused to give a foul against Foster because he knew he would have to send him off, that was clear cheating confirmed there and then. End of story.
Typical Glasgow weather even the drizzle was freezing.
Haven’t read back but posted at half that this game had loss of points written all over it as soon as the internet gave us the seven Brendan changes.
We opened brightly with passing football that didn’t produce a breach never mind the break through, and St Johnstone rose to the challenge of being better than a Celtic fringe side, put together because of ‘the more important Europa cup.’
A big let down for season ticket holders that get to see the squad if not the first picks, but more importantly how would they have fared against an overly physical Perth side given cart blanche by the SFA to break the rules with fear, of caution.
Time and again John Beaton either waved play on, or secreted away his embarrassingly overdue yellow card, of caution and from The Battered Bunnet’s seats you could very nearly see the smirk on St Johnstone’s faces who knew they were in for their bonus.
Beaton even blatantly allowed their wall to step up a metre, before spraying his ten yard marker, all a waste of time because anything we hit was woefully weak, and when the ball got in the box you could tell we made up our minds to miss.
Pitiful , now is the sight of Scott Sinclair bearing down the left wing random hammer thrower one, almost holding hands with hammer thrower two who gets him, only if the first one’s missed.
By the time the cavalry Forrest, Dembele and Keiran arrived the scalps had already been taken, the engine was running in the Saints bus.
Seen this movie too many times for comfort now Brendan.

Have been a huge fan of Rodgers since he got here. Massive, but he got it massively wrong today and he knows it. Listen to his post-match interviews. He’s rattled. Deflecting in a way I can’t remember before. He didn’t need to decimate the team and risk dropping points. Complacent garbage. The league isn’t won yet. Maybe unlike him, I care more about ten in a row than the possibility of an extra round in the Europa League. I don’t care if that makes me parochial.

Celtic extended their lead at the top of the league today. Result
After two minutes, having looked at the composition of both teams, I opined to Joe, next to me in the stand, that Beaton will have the ability to influence today’s game and he will use it.
Celtic were physically inferior to St. Johnstone and their agricultural approach to the game.
Beaton allowed their approach to dominate, even when obviously contrary to the rules of the game.
Jock Stein said if we score enough goals the the referee cannot influence the result.
Today we didn’t score and Beaton played a blinder.
No matter a full strength Celtic will pump the sheep then the Sevco.

I’m not interested in getting into an online barney with you or indeed Notthebus. If being preoccupied by ten in a row makes me Hunnish then you can group me with 99% of all the tims I know. I will never, ever be like those supremacist, bigoted Neanderthals. It’s not a sense of entitlement that drives me, it’s an understanding of the glaring opportunity we have to stick it to them for all their cheating and gloating over the years. We hold all of the aces, which is why taking unnecessary risks by playing the B team in an important league game at this stage of the season makes zero sense. Freshen up the team by all means, but retain enough of a core to do the business.
Would love to advance on Thursday and win the Cup, but I’m clear – the league takes priority over everything else.

The stolen titles and EBT’s and stuff is all historical, don’t bore us with it.
Sevco aren’t cheating any more.
Anybody who raises any kind of a concern is a Hun and should be shouted down.
There is no player in Europe or anywhere that would improve that team for £30 or £10m or £5m.
Soon we’ll huv a Hotel to watch Tribute Acts in as well as the Sevco Tribute Act on the pitch.”
Sevco/SFA/Refs are all laughing at ye from the Lodge, while the Plc take your money. (What about Lawwell’s loss of £40/50m of CL money during the Ronny years?)
Some on here are displaying a lack of awareness and analysis which is now damaging to Celtic and must be absolute music to Dave King’s and Alan McRae’s ears.

The next cliché heard will be. ‘that selection should have been good enough to beat St.Johnstone’ even though they manifestly weren’t from a very early stage in the game where St Johnstone for the second time at Celtic Park showed their mean side and teeth.
